However, in our opinion, the road noise around the clock was very disturbing. You can hear the Rothenbergstraße as well as the nearby highways and, last but not least, the airport in all its facets quite well. But we were really annoyed by some of our fellow campers! I don't know whether they were permanent or tourist campers, but apparently nobody cares about a good night's sleep there. We have never heard loud bawling, music or shouting at night with such frequency and regularity at any other campsite! It is clear that the operator is not directly responsible for this. But in this respect, no one seems to care enough to put a stop to it. And before the question arises: No, we weren't the only guests who found it annoying. My personal impression is that as a tourist camper on this site, which is mainly used by permanent campers, you are not really welcome - including stupid remarks and finger-pointing shortly after arriving on the pitch when setting up your caravan and camping equipment.
