Nothing works without booking, sanitary facilities not nice
A beautiful week
The third time Ulika and also not the last time, unfortunately nothing works without booking or you end up squeezed in somewhere on a piece of land, we don't want that. But booking in advance has its price, 100 euros that are then lost, well for that you have your pitch. And with a dog you have very... little space anyway.
We love the site because you can go for a walk with your dog in the evening and have a glass of wine or go to one of the restaurants.
You can get into the sea via various ladders and have a great swim with a view of Porec.
Now to the sanitary facilities, I really had to overcome myself to go to the toilet there, male and female together and mostly left dirty. The toilets still have a cord, they are probably very old. The poor cleaning lady can't do anything about it either. Many people complain about the swallows, they make a lot of mess but they are there and you have to accept that.
You can eat very well in Cervar Porat

- Much too loud due to external music
Great place - but MUCH too loud
The place is really nice,
not too big - not too small.
The sanitary facilities are great and the pitches are well designed. Everyone will find what they want here.
The people on the site are super nice and there are lots of families there.
The access to the sea is good and varied. There are also showers... everywhere along the coastline.
The possibilities for excursions are very varied. So you can do a lot if you want to.
There are also several restaurants with good food and the price level is ok.
We (2 adults and 3 kids) actually felt VERY comfortable and would love to go there again.

Unfortunately only actually! Because we could only really sleep in 4 of the 10 nights.
There is probably a festival provider nearby. This organized disco days. The bass of the music permeates the whole campsite - it's almost impossible to sleep. Yes, we only had a tent this time - but my attempts to sleep in the car didn't help either. It's not just the one big festival, as already mentioned here. There are parties almost every day.
It wasn't just me either, the whole family was often awake at night - or woke up.
If you walked around, you met a few fellow sufferers.

Reception knew about it, but unfortunately couldn't do anything about it.

In any case, we'll be back as soon as this problem is solved.

Not just for passing through
Due to overcrowding on Cres, we spontaneously went to Ulika beforehand. Nice pitch next to quiet and friendly permanent campers. Mixed WC/showers took some getting used to because of the children but also okay. As varied and fine as the gastronomy on the site is, the grocery store is all the more spartan. Hairdresser on site, very nice beaches with a fantastic sunset, pool if you like it also okay. We would love to come back!

The price-performance ratio is okay and the gastronomy is also recommended. The store, the bakery and the vegetable stand are also okay

The location opposite Porec is good for city visits. The numerous restaurants on site also offer good food.
Desventajas
The place is pretty full.
Favorite naturist spot
We have already visited the site very often and will continue to do so in spring and fall. We prefer to leave the summer months to families with children. We think the opportunity to play boules is particularly worth mentioning.

I have been coming to this site for 36 years. I have been a permanent camper for several years. Have always been very satisfied. Very friendly staff. Clean washing and toilet facilities. Very quiet until 3 years ago.
Desventajas
Unfortunately, Gebetsroither's guests have not been informed about the use of an air conditioning system. The air conditioning runs all day. Due to the somewhat older models, this creates an unacceptable noise nuisance for the surrounding campers. The electricity consumption is of course correspondingly high. Advice from Gebetsroither on the optimum use of an air conditioning system would be very useful for users.
Climate Gebetsroither caravan
A very nice naturist campsite.
Very clean. Unfortunately, due to the increased air conditioning on the mobile homes and caravans not so
pleasantly quiet.

Nice place near Porec. Quiet at night on the side towards Porec. Dogs must stay outside. Good restaurants, nice large pitches mostly in the shade.
Desventajas
Wash houses very old but clean. Nothing is being repaired. Loud music all night on the side towards Cervar. Any information about a pitch costs 50 euros.
Beautiful place in a central location
This is my 5th time here. The location and the place are great. You can eat well and cheaply. There are plenty of places to eat. The pitches are large and mostly in the shade. Unfortunately, there are always more on the free areas that take up 300 pm. In addition, sun loungers and parasols are placed... on the beach for the duration of your stay even though they are not used all day. The bakery is great and cheap, the supermarket has what you need but is super expensive. The people at reception are helpful, but a smile wouldn't go amiss. But what is not good at all is that you have to pay 50 euros for every piece of information about a free parking space. I will think twice about coming back a 6th time.

Good restaurant Great location Good swimming facilities

Hyigene in our area (area B) Fire extinguishers not in marked places Lots of traffic in area B
Easy handling of corona
We stayed at the campsite for just under 2 weeks. It has a lot of good things to offer. Great location, very good bathing facilities and two great restaurants. Due to Corona, it wasn't as busy as in other years at peak travel times. So far so good.
What is not at all good in Corona times, however, is... the hygienic condition of the sanitary facilities in our area (zone B). There is a lot of mold in the showers. There are plenty of dead flies and dirt on the windowsills. Swallows also breed in the building and accordingly the walls are covered in bird droppings and are not cleaned. The daily water orgies (everything is flooded with a hose and then drained) do not give the impression of thorough cleaning and often take place at peak times. There is a complete lack of hand disinfection. Some sockets also no longer inspire full confidence.
Masks are compulsory at reception and in the supermarket, but this is viewed very casually.
Last but not least, I noticed that fire extinguishers are marked everywhere on the site plan. There are also nice new fire extinguisher boxes in the designated places, but they are all empty. I found some fire extinguishers in other places, but the locations were not marked.

To sum up, you can actually spend a nice vacation here if you don't attach much importance to safety and hygiene.

Our new place
We have been so satisfied since 2018 that we have been there twice in 2019 and will be going again in 2020. We like the large free pitches. In June and September there is always something to find without booking. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The sea is clean and easy to reach via ladders. It still has camperfiling, which has been lost at other large naturist campsites due to too many apartments and mobile homes.

Nice naturist place very clean sanitary facilities
My parents were here over 30 years ago today the place is huge lots of shade and fortunately a separate area for campers with dogs on the dog beach Very friendly staff my dad walks on crutches after hip surgery and of course we could look for a parking space with the camper on the pitch. Bread rolls... fresh from the bakery not mass-produced goods from the supermarket great fruit & vegetable stand both good prices Sanitary facilities are not separated into male and female but very clean Good opportunity to get into the sea the sunbeds and umbrellas should not be enough when fully occupied The WLAN is underground weak to not available at all We can say little negative about the observance of nudism. We can't say much negative about nudism but most of the day it was just too cold but there was no one in swimming trunks on the beach except teenagers but that's perfectly fine Restaurant is recommended Cuisine and service impeccable Supermarket had only a meager offer 4 days before the end of the season but large supermarkets in the city are less than 5 minutes away by car Be sure to visit the church in Porec

Beautiful naturist place
I have been coming here for several years and I always like it, there has also been a lot of construction in recent years, the sanitary facilities are old and clean but are cleaned several times a day and there is almost everything you need to live on the site. Unfortunately, there are some who ignore the nudism there should be more controls on the part of the operator, the staff at the reception is friendly I can only recommend the place

Beautifully situated in the countryside.

The infrastructure is apparently only checked after damage has occurred.
Condition Ulika 2019
I have been coming to Ulika since 1980. The site is beautifully situated and offers many recreational opportunities. But: The control of the infrastructure (condition of the sanitary buildings and the pitches) leaves more and more to be desired. Compliance with the nudist ban and dog ban in unmarked... areas is not monitored!!! - The use of (a lot of) "security" is pointless if this personnel only drives around the site and does not intervene in the event of infringements! Waste separation is not observed because the bins are too far apart. There are no garbage cans for residual waste (Komunalni Otpad). Many pitches do not have a water connection nearby. The sanitary facilities 3 & 4 are in urgent need of renovation (defective showers and mold). The Internet is often not accessible or WLAN is only weakly receivable (area A and C).

The site is large, everything is there, ...for a certain camping price.
Desventajas
Not a beautiful beach, more like a shore made of natural stone or concrete.
Large space, difficult to manage, everything there - except a beautiful beach!
We stayed for 6 nights at the end of May 2019 at "Naturist Camping Ulika", between Novigrad and Porec. Attention there are 2 Camping Ulika in Istria. We took the wrong route at first and ended up at the other one near Rovinj. The other site is not nudist. The place is huge, so that you can look for a... nice pitch forever, and relatively unmanageable when you are there for the 1st time. I found it difficult to find a nice spot for our tent in May. Even in May, the site is very full of pensioners and older people from Germany, Holland and Austria. But we found one, but unfortunately it was quite close to the vehicles' route. At night we were afraid that someone would drive into our tent. This year, for Istria, it rained a lot in May. We are normally campers and always pitch our tent. Due to the heavy and persistent rain, we took a hut after 3 nights. The toilet facilities are fine. But the "beach" is more of a "shore". The 4, 5 or 6 camping restaurants all make a simple impression and are normal and simple in taste. The dishes are clear and straightforward. But of course there are differences. In the camping store for food you had to wear textiles. We were surprised, but realized it. On the shore, you can find many different small and medium-sized sea creatures such as crabs, crayfish, mussels and fish in the small holes and niches. The tin huts, containers, near the entrance, one of which we rented for 3 nights, are of a simple to medium standard. You still have to wipe off the dust from the others yourself. However, you quickly get used to the comfort of such a hut compared to a 4-man tent. We had a hut quite far forward, with a good view towards the campsite. We really wouldn't have wanted to be further back. The "containers" are very cramped there and don't have a clear view. The reception is large and spacious. You could get there quite quickly. Everything could also be discussed in German. We paid in cash. There is a bureau de change right next to it. The exchange rate is better than at the machine. (Excursions to the nearby town of Baredine and the tourist town of Porec are also recommended. I have also published various videos on YouTube about our stay there and our vacation in Istria and Croatia.

I think Ulika is a really nice fkk place. Unfortunately, it's unbearable at the end of May and beginning of June. No peace at night. Even during the day there is constant disco music from Laterna. Unfortunately, the operators of the site seem to have too little influence to intervene in Porec.

Is wastewater being discharged into the sea?
The location of the campsite is very good, there are great restaurants on site, the sanitary facilities are good and 90% clean, but the beach is not well maintained - at the end of May there were mostly no showers on the beach and waste water is discharged in the area of the campsite, which leads to... such pollution that we lost the desire to swim. The reception did not react at all to the obvious pollution. Is the discharge of untreated waste water still permitted in Croatia?

Once Ulika, always Ulika.
We have been coming to Ulika for 25 years, a beautifully situated place. You can find everything you need for a relaxing vacation, you can hike, cycle and swim. Porec is easily accessible by bike and the restaurant on site is ok, except for Palme (which has lost a lot of its appeal recently). The staff... especially in the reception is an imposition, thank god you only need them when you say goodbye. The boss in particular is an extremely unfriendly person. Saying thank you or wishing you a good trip is out of the question with him.

mmhh. The cycle path to Porec could be better...
Perfect for us!
We were at the campsite in September 2018. Unfortunately, almost everything was full and we were on the open meadow with our dog. But we also liked it. Partly shade and sun. A plus is the free-range enclosure for the dog. As he has to be kept on a lead in the area. But O.K. What is a little bad as a... dog owner, so you can not just walk on the main paths across the square, because in the non-dog area the dog is NOT allowed at all. But okay, that's the rules. Which is also noticeable, so that campers without dogs are also allowed in the dog area... Shouldn't really be like that... Then they don't have to get upset. I can only smile at the assessment that the dog area is getting bigger and bigger... 1/3 dog area... 2/3 non-dog area. So I would say okay. Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was always in top condition. You could also see in the morning that heavy equipment was being used for cleaning. I don't understand the reviews about the separation of the sexes in the sanitary facilities. Aren't they all naked all day anyway? Who cares about the sanitary area? Or should there be an extra entrance by the sea according to gender? So in my eyes it makes no sense. Supermarket is unfortunately expensive. Shopping outside here... Buns and bread is also nothing special... Everyone takes the baguette... It tastes good :-) Hairdresser okay, but there are no appointments... So we have to wait. Fruit stand in front of the camp Prima. Restaurants are also perfectly fine. And we had no problems with the reception either... On the contrary. We wanted to leave in the morning, but we postponed it until the evening and were allowed to stay half the day free of charge. All in all, we'll be back.
