Ventajas
Beautiful pitch (also with shade) despite considerable traffic) directly on the Moselle, great cycle path to Trier and Saarburg; free choice of pitch; check-in machine; electricity price according to consumption
Desventajas
Sanitary area tiny, urgently needs to be expanded and renovated
Light and shade in Konz
Tiny sanitary area, urgently needs to be expanded and renovated (1 urinal, too few toilets and showers, hand dryers or paper napkins needed for toilets, too few flushing stations); bread roll service desirable, although not essential

Ventajas
Central location between Trier and Saarburg, directly on the Moselle and the Moselle cycle path, close to the city center
Desventajas
none
Beautifully situated place
Beautifully located CP for visits to Trier, Saarburg or Luxembourg as well as bicycle tours. As already mentioned several times in the reviews, the site is located on a busy road, and the railroad line and shipping are also audible. However, the noise level is kept within limits. The site operator is... very friendly and helpful. He explains everything when you check in. The restaurant is friendly and offers home cooking at fair prices. The place is not what you would expect from a place in the wine region. But you can also eat or shop there. The site is also occupied by permanent campers. They are all very friendly.
During peak travel times, such as bridge days, you should definitely book in advance.
For us it was an all-round successful and relaxed stay, we would love to come back.

Simply everything is great! Small cozy campsite with nice people directly on the Moselle !
Desventajas
Nothing !
Awesome !!!
The campsite is located directly on the Moselle in a beautiful and very quiet area. A railroad bridge crosses the Moselle in the immediate vicinity. However, this is not very busy and the "noise" is hardly noticeable. You receive a friendly welcome and are shown everything you need to know. Our stay here was a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. We would love to come back!

Ventajas
Small, cozy campsite on the Moselle, LTE and SAT reception. Restaurant on the site. Shopping facilities 1.2km.
Desventajas
Nothing that really bothered me.
small fine cozy
I was very impressed, I had a free choice of seats thanks to the online reservation. Check in at the terminal. Chip card for shower and electricity with credit, remaining credit is paid out on departure. Train and road nearby, but I didn't find it very annoying and I live in the village. Very nice and... helpful permanent campers. Not the newest sanitary facilities but clean. It was a bit stupid that my car was parked on the pitch under a tree for 3 days at 36 degrees in the shade, and the stains on the paint from the tree can no longer be removed.

Clearly the location! 1. directly on the Moselle and 2. lots of culture in the immediate vicinity
Desventajas
People who are sensitive to noise should have earplugs in their luggage. Behind the square is the main road and next to it the railroad bridge. You shouldn't ignore the shipping traffic either, but we didn't see any ships at night.
Quite ok
Either the groundsman has changed or we are not sensitive enough to notice the (much-reported) unfriendliness of the groundsman. He was always friendly and helpful to us. The place is clean and tidy. It is stupid that you have to lay the power cables across the road at the shore pitches, so that cars... often drive over them. Registration is done at a machine from which you get a camper card. Electricity and showers are all charged via this camper card, which makes the site a little anonymous. The restaurant offers good, tasty home cooking at fair prices. As we had read on the website in advance that there is no bread roll service, kiosk or similar, we had already made provisions. One drawback is the apparently relatively poor connection to the sewage system, as you are asked to dispose of gray water at home or on a better equipped site if possible.
All in all, it's still a site where we will definitely spend another weekend.

Spend the night in a guest room
We stayed in the guest room for 3 nights. Room with cooking and washing up facilities, fridge, TV and safe with shower / WC. The place is ideally located for visiting Trier (Kreuz Konz train station to Trier HB a few minutes). Excursions to Luxembourg, Saarburg, Bernkastell, the Moselle or along the Saar are also not too far away. We felt very comfortable here. Rather small campsite with very friendly service, also in the restaurant.

Ventajas
Central location (Luxembourg, Trier, etc.)
Desventajas
High noise level due to traffic
Small square directly on the Moselle
Small site directly on the Moselle, unfortunately also on the main road and near the railroad tracks - therefore unfortunately quite noisy. The sanitary buildings are a bit outdated but clean. Apart from an old small playground, this site has nothing else special to offer. We were surprised that there were no bread rolls, kiosk or similar. Due to the location, however, well suited for day trips. Price performance = I.O.

Unfortunately, if you are sensitive to noise, we cannot recommend this site. It is located directly on a main road and a railroad track. There are no shopping facilities on the site, but stores of all kinds are only a few minutes' walk away. The water sports listed on the homepage can only be practiced if you ask the permanent campers who have their own boat. However, the permanent campers on site are very friendly and always up for a bit of fun.
