"Feel-good place - Initially, we only wanted to spend 3 nights at this campsite. That quickly turned into 7 nights. We couldn't tear ourselves away. The site is lovingly laid out with lots of flowers. The host family is very nice, hospitable and attentive. We were given a very warm welcome and were free to choose from the pitches we were shown. All the pitches for motorhomes are in the lower part of the campsite by the sea. In the middle are the permanent campers and in the upper part are the sanitary facilities, washing machines, dishwashing facilities and the supply and disposal for the motorhomes. The walk to the sanitary facilities is an athletic challenge via a fairly steep climb, but it is certainly doable. Unfortunately, a few toilet seats were missing, but the sanitary facilities were clean at all times. There is also a restaurant on the site. This is also run by the operators. In addition to the menu, there is always a dish of the day on offer. The cuisine is excellent and highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is very good. You can get fresh bread at the restaurant in the morning. The beach is a narrow pebble beach, the water is heavenly clear. It takes about 20 minutes to walk along the beach to the town, about 50 minutes via the country road. We cycled there in a few minutes. Shopping facilities in the village or you can stock up well beforehand. Nicolas 2 is a quiet, relaxed, feel-good place. We loved staying there and will definitely be back on our next vacation in Greece!!!

"Narrow - narrower - Nicolas II - I can't understand the many positive reviews. The site is at the end of a long bay, where there are several campsites and hotels. Due to the steep east coast, it is narrow everywhere. The site is cozy and small, located directly on the pebble beach, which is comparatively clean in this part. About half of it is occupied by permanent campers, and there are obviously also many Greek regulars and lots of weekend visitors. The site is then almost completely full. As we had booked in advance, we got a comparatively large pitch in the front row facing the sea. However, there was no feel-good atmosphere as the pitches are only separated by a line on the ground and are close together, footpaths lead across pitches and the beach was full of tables and chairs from the regular guests. There is no free choice of pitch and the car cannot be parked next to the tent. There is a lot of maneuvering, especially at weekends, and parking is sometimes only possible on the road outside the campsite. Even though the site is in a wonderfully quiet location, you sometimes feel like you're at a funfair because of all the people. The sanitary facilities are located at the upper end of the campsite and the walk can certainly be described as strenuous. The toilets (toilet seats are now available) are often not clean. The mini market is closed, but you can buy cool drinks in the bistro. The friendly operator really tries to make sure his guests have a pleasant stay. The site is also well maintained and clean. There are plenty of free fridges and toilet paper etc. is also available. Major highlights such as the theater of Epidauros, Mycenae, Nafplio, Corinth, Methana, etc. can be reached by car in under an hour. At the other end of the bay you can snorkel through a sunken part of Epidaurus, and further north at the end of the village behind the harbor on Vagionia beach you can swim with turtles.

"Nice CP with small pitches - Nice CP about 4 km from the nearest town. Make sure you have enough cash. The ATM in Epidaurus does not always work and is the only one in the area. At Nicolas II, cash is the order of the day in the minimarket and restaurant. The parking spaces are very small. You may have problems with a long trailer. The operator, Dimitrie, is very friendly and helps wherever he can. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned accordingly. The approach from Corinth resembles a pretty woman. The road is very narrow, winding and steep

"Steep, narrow and full - In mid-May, the site was already 95% full and if you like life in a tight community, this is the place for you! Access very difficult for large WOMOs or caravans (steep, narrow, hardly any turning options!). But clean and Dimitri is very friendly and helpful.

"Nice, clean campsite near Epidaurus - Very good, pleasant campsite near Paléa Epidaurus. The owner, Dimitrios, goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. The sanitary facilities were among the cleanest on our 5-week trip. The campsite was also constantly swept and looked after. We experienced a violent storm with heavy rain (rather rare in summer in the Peloponnese). The next day, the staff did everything they could to ensure that all traces of it were quickly removed. A big compliment for that! Fresh bread is available to order at reception. The pitches are generously sized, Dimitrios gives you a free choice of pitches and we were allowed to park our car on a free pitch next to our caravan. In addition to the trees, there are also canopies to provide shade. However, it gets crowded at the weekend as the Greeks arrive with their tents. The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately there is little shade. The ancient site of Epidaurus is about 25 minutes away by car. The atmosphere was nice in the evening. There are fewer people then.

"Superb stay - Magnificent campsite by the sea. Very large, shaded pitches with solar sail. Beautiful beach. Competent staff. The owner, Dimitri, is very welcoming and responds kindly to all requests. One of the best hotels in Greece!
