Quiet and beautiful view towards the lake. 10 min. walk to the Badi am See. There is also a bistro within walking distance. 2 gas stations about 3 km away have everything you forgot to buy.
Desventajas
Not free place whale. It is allocated. But my pitch was just right for only 1 night.
Camping integrated into the farm with land behind it
The sun has disappeared behind the hill quite early, which is very pleasant on hot days.

Ventajas
Great site with spacious pitches. Beautiful tree meadow for tents. Friendly tenant family. Especially nice for children. Very quiet despite the young life on the site. A place to relax and recharge your batteries. Showers do not cost extra.
Desventajas
Nothing at all
Close to nature, quiet, child-friendly
We, a 50+ couple, were there in the high season and were pleasantly surprised: although there were lots of people, lots of children and therefore lots of activity, it was quiet on the site. Certainly also thanks to the spacious pitches, but also because the site itself radiates peace and quiet.
An unusually... unconventional site by CH standards and the starting point for beautiful cycle tours along Lake Biel. Public transport connections not far from the site. A few minutes by bike from Biel. The campsite is highly recommended.

Quiet and friendly
Beautiful, idyllic campsite, clean sanitary facilities and small playground for children. Close to the lake with bathing areas. In the high season the sanitary facilities could be scarce. Friendly and helpful owner. Very nice!

Ventajas
- Large pitches - Top sanitary facilities - Very friendly reception
Desventajas
- Hot water costs extra (showers and rinsing) - only cold water at the washbasins
Great place near the highway
We were here spontaneously at the end of October for one night as we were passing through. We actually wanted to drive on, but because of the traffic it was time to call it a night. The site is 5 minutes from the highway, but absolutely quiet. When we arrived at reception at 5pm, nobody was there. However,... contact was quickly established using the intercom and the operator arrived within 10 minutes. We were the only guests at the campsite and the reception was very friendly and without any formalities. We were free to choose our pitch. The pitches are separated by bushes or trees and are very, very spacious. Electricity, water and waste water available at every pitch. Pitches very level, with grass. The sanitary building didn't look very good from the outside at first. But when I had a look inside, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. Everything was top modern and clean. The shower cubicles were very spacious. Unfortunately, hot water costs 50 cents extra (shower tokens required). This also applies to the dishwashing areas outside the building. The washbasins only have cold water, which is no longer standard. They could have done better when renovating, hence one star deduction for the sanitary facilities. Another deduction is for the shower technology. You have to keep pressing the water button. If you soap yourself without running water, the time of the machine continues to run and the shower token runs out. I can't judge the surroundings as we only stayed overnight. But the whole package made a very good impression, even if only at second glance. Therefore: Don't judge too quickly :-) We would definitely come back if the opportunity arose.

Close to nature, produce from the farm, quick access to the water, cycle route around Lake Biel, passes right by the campsite.
Life on the farm
Camping pitches are not parceled out, large pitches. Apple and pear trees all over the site. Chickens ran around freely :-) 10 min walk to the lake. Pure relaxation. Very suitable for families. Please note that dogs are usually not allowed on Lake Biel.

Ventajas
Close to nature + quiet location, free choice of pitches under cherry trees, very friendly site operators, lake + infrastructure within easy reach
Desventajas
Sanitary facilities could be expanded, this probably only affects guests in the high season - otherwise no disadvantages for us
Very beautiful, natural campsite above Lake Biel
This natural campsite is in an idyllic location above Lake Biel. The free choice of pitches is based on the cherry trees planted in a huge meadow, which is both very pleasant and pragmatic. The rough choice is based on the possible view of Lake Biel, more or less shade, a spot on the edge or right in... the middle. The very friendly operator gives valuable tips on choosing a pitch and then you can "let off steam" in his rectangle surrounded by 4 cherry trees. It goes without saying that the cherry trees, which are harvested from time to time, are respected. Even though Hendrik van der Veer is the "main" contact person for small and large CP problems, all family members and employees were very friendly and courteous. He always had time for a chat or two in between and never let himself be distracted from his passion despite all the distractions. This is because he is particularly passionate about his cherry trees, the many other tasks that a large farm entails and, of course, the satisfaction of all his guests. Even though he likes to call himself "a cherry farmer", he still has the soul and the passion that it takes to get a farm like this up and running, even though large parts of the farm are now run mainly by his sons. We were guests at the Lindenhof at the beginning of June. The audience was very mixed. Single travelers alongside families with young and older children and also older travelers made for a very harmonious mix and atmosphere. Mutual respect and the motto "live and let live" made the stay very memorable for us. Among our guests were other athletes who had chosen this campsite as the ideal starting point for the "Night of Nights" (Biel running days with the highlight of the 100 km run starting at 10 p.m.). Even though our host preferred to go to sleep rather than support us mentally ;-), he was very interested in the run-up to and the "follow-up work" to find out why we were doing something like this and how we actually experienced it on the way. The next time we take part in the Bieler Lauftage, we will be "lodging" under these cherry trees again in the final hours before and days after. Thank you for the hospitality we were able to experience here. Necessary groceries can be bought on foot or by bike in the neighboring village. The train line to Biel is easy and quick to reach. A swimming area in Lake Biel is only a few minutes away. By bike, this campsite is also the ideal starting point for various cycling tours, including around Lake Biel. The site was not fully occupied at the beginning of June, so there were plenty of sanitary facilities available. In the high season, it could certainly get crowded there. An adjustment in number and comfort would be the only small comment we would like to mention at this point. The campsite is worth a visit for all nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Thanks to the van der Veer family for the relaxing days we spent with them.

Ventajas
Simple, natural site No permanent campers View of the lake from some pitches
Desventajas
Sanitary facilities in short supply Price for caravans is too high compared to the infrastructure
Nice, simple camping
The campsite is beautifully situated with a view of the Jura and Lake Biel. We liked the unparceled pitches under the fruit trees. It's great that there are only tourist pitches here. The classic campsites in the Seeland are usually full of permanent campers and therefore often a bit run-down.

Whitsun at the Lindenhof
Our stay at Pentecost was very nice. Despite the disturbance of the night by people who still wanted to go camping at 3am. We were very grateful to the owner family that they decided to send these people away. We will gladly come back again because everything is well organized. Many thanks to the van der Veer family. Ventajas
Peace and quiet, no assigned pitches, simple but clean sanitary facilities
Desventajas
Nothing nearby for the adventurous (where the disadvantage is relative)
Great farm!
If you drive onto the site from the outside, you'd like to turn around... but when you see the campsite (behind the courtyard!) for yourself, you'll quickly change your mind! A large, beautifully maintained meadow awaited me with no allocated pitches. So I was here for the first day at the beginning of May and enjoyed the peace and quiet!

Close to nature and beautiful
Can gladly recommend this campsite. Only the sanitary facilities might lead to a bit of congestion when it's busy... but that's not a problem as I'm on vacation anyway.

Beautiful, simple and uncomplicated campsite above Lake Biel.
We were there at the end of April and there were practically no people on the site. We chose our pitch in the upper corner area, so we could walk our dog directly. The disadvantage was the directly adjacent neighborhood road which was sometimes used as a "race track" by certain motorists. The view of... the lake and the Jura mountains, on the other hand, is sensational. The sanitary facilities meet today's standards and were always very clean. We really enjoyed it and will be back.

Ventajas
beautiful location, directly on the cycle path,
Desventajas
Small sanitary infrastructure
Idyllic location
The site is slightly elevated above Lake Biel, so the view is just right. The site was well occupied over the Ascension weekend, but the spacious pitches meant that privacy was not an issue. However, the washing up and showering areas were cramped...an extension would be desirable! Payment at check-in always gives you a bad feeling...are you afraid you'll leave without paying?

Close to nature, beautiful location, lots of space to play.
Nice, quiet campsite
Beautifully situated, quiet and natural site under fruit trees. Friendly owners. Ideal for small children (large sandpit), located directly on the cycle route. Small, pretty bathing area on the lake within walking distance. We were there with bikes and tent. On the 1st weekend in August - lots of families... with small/younger children. Sanitary facilities not large (only 2 showers + 3 toilets per gender). But despite good occupancy it was o.k. (and always clean).

Ventajas
Rural surroundings. Lake within walking distance.
Desventajas
The infrastructure is quickly overloaded when there is a lot of traffic and guests are handled in an unfriendly manner.
Nice place but way too expensive
When we arrived, we were asked to pay the total amount for 2 nights without being greeted or given any detailed prices and without any receipt: a whopping 86 francs for 1 adult with 2 children, tent and car. Because of Whitsun, the site was overcrowded, the infrastructure (only 2 showers, 2 toilets)... hopelessly overloaded and so there were long waiting times in the morning and evening. We were crammed together with a friend on a small pitch. Never again!
