We stayed at this campsite in 2010 and 2015. The host family is very friendly. English is no problem at reception, they also make an effort to speak some German. The pitches are separated from each other by hedges. Good layout of the site, i.e. short distances. The sanitary areas were kept clean throughout.... You can buy everything you need and the morning bread rolls/baguettes in the store. The campsite restaurant offers simple but decent cuisine. In the high season, there is daily entertainment, including a somewhat louder disco evening once a week. Canoe tours on the Dordogne are highly recommended. In the surrounding area, Domme and Sarlat-la-Caneda are ideal excursion destinations. A little further afield are the prehistoric sites in the Vezere region (Les Eyzies, Lascaux caves). Children will find plenty of opportunities to play on the campsite and on the banks of the Dordogne.
