The campsite is located in a wild, rugged, lonely mountain landscape on a slope above a washed-out riverbed. The pitches are spread across the meadow and are mostly flat. Partly shaded by large poplars. Some very pretty vacation cottages for rent, also by the day. The main building looks like a mixture... of hunting lodge and shelter; the sanitary facilities at the main building are not so great, but there is a newly built second sanitary building at the site (open in high season). The campsite operator speaks some English and was very nice. No shopping facilities on site; the nearest small town is on the other side of the river and not directly accessible, there is also a restaurant there (in the evening). The operator makes breakfast in the morning to order! Lots of information and tour suggestions for hikers at reception! Otherwise there are virtually no leisure activities. This is still the best CP in the area ...
