- 5.0RBRené B.diciembre 20255.0RBRené B.diciembre 2025VentajasFriendly and courteous operator coupleDesventajasnothing to complain aboutBeautiful place and dedicated operatorsCampsite on the outskirts of Altenberg. Partly permanent campers, partly free choice of pitches. The outdoor pool is located behind it. In winter you can access the cross-country ski trail directly or go tobogganing or skiing about 400 m away.
The site includes a sanitary area (clean and fully equipped),... the reception (including a small selection of cookies and drinks). Electricity connections (billed separately) are at the pitches, camping toilets can be emptied. The young operators and their helpers were very friendly and helpful. Hot and cold drinks and small snacks were offered in a snack wagon.
Thanks again, we felt very comfortable.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0WGWolfgang G.septiembre 20255.0WGWolfgang G.septiembre 2025VentajasThe well-kept sanitary facilitiesDesventajasUnfortunately no food on offer outside of bathing timesIt is to be recommendedI have been to the campsite three times and was reluctant to leave, everyone was very polite to us.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

Susanne B.julio 20225.0Susanne B.julio 2022VentajasFantastic naturally ingrown grounds, super practical for dog owners and campers looking for peace and quietDesventajasNot really a disadvantage, but the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. The shower rooms are lacking in little things ...A beautiful spot of natureHere you will find pure nature and wonderful peace and quiet. Perfect for us with a dog. Just behind the campsite there are wonderful walks around the large gallows pond and the drinking water reservoir, further into the forest etc..
The small gallows pond (bathing pond) is definitely great for children,... as there is a mega slide and you can get there directly from the campsite.
I could imagine that a winter vacation here is also a dream, because then the cross-country ski trails lead directly past the CP.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but super clean. The showers are in need of improvement. There is no possibility to store or hang up your bag and clothes. There are little things missing, such as a stool, coat hooks and labeling for hot and cold. Since you have to put in 50 cents, it's a bit awkward when you're trying to figure out how to turn on the cold water ;) The young couple who run the place are very helpful and the older lady who was here on Sunday is super nice and somehow an original. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the campsite to anyone who loves peace and nature.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 5.0TSTorsten S.octubre 20205.0TSTorsten S.octubre 2020VentajasLocation Friendliness Helpful Bread roll serviceDesventajasNothing foundBeautiful place in beautiful surroundingsWe felt very comfortable with the new operators. A beautifully laid out site with pitches for all needs.
Ideal for hiking and biking. Shopping within 3 km on foot.
Also ideal for dogs.
The site has even more potential which the new operators are eager to reveal.
The site lighting will certainly be improved and the Wi-Fi for the more remote pitches.
We will definitely be back!

(Even if it is with a sharpie)A beautiful placeWe spent two weeks on the site as "travelers". That speaks volumes. The leisure facilities in the area are very good. The site is rustic and therefore very charming. There is also an outdoor pool, which is directly accessible from the campsite. The staff and operators are very friendly, flexible and guest-oriented. Quiet.DesventajasThe new operators still have a lot to do here in terms of course maintenance, infrastructure, etc.Beautiful place with new operatorsBasically a very nice place that still needs some care and maintenance. Obviously the new operators have taken over a "ruin" and have already tackled a few things, but there is still just as much to do. Many boundaries to neighbors due to trees. Dedicated and always accessible operators, delicious bread rolls to order. Within walking distance of the Raupennest thermal baths (approx. 15 min), shopping facilities (approx.... 10 min) and café/restaurants. The sanitary facilities are simple and clean. Short distances to the town, swimming pool, ski slope, cross-country ski trails directly behind the campsite.DesventajasNoneIdeal winter pitchWe stayed at the campsite four times in a row over New Year's Eve. we were always welcomed in a friendly and courteous manner and during our stay they always had an open ear for our little problems. we must mention the cozy evenings with mulled wine, bratwurst and soup from the goulash cannon. a real... highlight were of course the New Year's Eve celebrations at which the Martin family prepared a wonderful and sumptuous feast. there was always a great atmosphere with great disco music. The condition of the site was good in terms of tidiness and cleanliness, the same applies to the sanitary facilities, and thanks to the clearing service provided by the staff, the paths were easy to drive on, even when there was a lot of snow. we think that the fact alone that the site was fully booked over New Year's Eve probably speaks for the fact that all guests felt comfortable.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.

- 1.0JGJochen G.julio 20171.0JGJochen G.julio 2017Unfortunately not suitable for comfortNot recommended for camping with a tent. Since, according to the camping staff, the more important permanent campers must not be disturbed, we were put on a tent meadow, even though there were nicer spots for a small tent. Even on the special tent meadow, you are then forced to pitch your tent near a... single power distributor, unless you have at least 40 m of cable with you. Otherwise, the location and scenery of the campsite is a matter of taste, we have experienced much nicer campsites. As a family, we also found the price-performance ratio not quite right. The sanitary facilities are okay, the lake for swimming is a plus. The owner of the campsite still needs to work on her friendliness towards customers! The reception office was not manned when we arrived, so we used the marked bell. After three minutes, no one answered and I rang the bell again. This was a big mistake, followed by a lecture that she was not deaf and that ringing twice was unnecessary. Well, as they say, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. If we are in the area again, we will look around for alternatives.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Galgenteich 18 de septiembre de 2020Hello Jochen,
