Charlie H.julio 20251.0Charlie H.julio 2025VentajasAfter a lengthy search, we found ourselves in front of a locked gate. The access road was overgrown. There was no sign pointing to a campsite.DesventajasClosedThe campsite is closed. The square is closed.
We stood in front of a locked gate and the road behind it was overgrown. There was neither a sign nor any other indication that there was a campsite here.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 5.0EHEmmi H.agosto 20235.0EHEmmi H.agosto 2023VentajasEverything, I always come back.DesventajasThe street............, I have experienced much worse, everything ok!!!!!!!A nice campsite in Gilau.I have enjoyed visiting this campsite for many years.

I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom facilities and the nice, clean and well-kept grounds.Traducido automáticamente.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración. - 3.0TKThomas K.agosto 20183.0TKThomas K.agosto 2018Ventajasclean, easily accessibleDesventajasNoise and exhaust fumes due to direct main road locationNice place directly on very noisy main streetIf the highway is extended further, this site will certainly increase in value. Very nice and well-kept, strange price calculation for off-roaders with a roof tent but still ok in terms of price.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

R.F.P. S.julio 20184.0R.F.P. S.julio 2018VentajasNice starting point to visit the city of Cluj-Napoca. This is a very busy city. Furthermore, plenty of recreational opportunities in the area.DesventajasHeavy traffic around the main DN1 road. This will become less once the highway is opened.Simple neat campsite. Good sanitary facilities. Suitable for longer stays.Quiet campground (after completion of highway near Cluj-Napoca). Everything is neatly maintained. Pleasant service. Dutch owner. Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 1 de agosto de 2017Thank you for the review.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

Karl-Heinz K.septiembre 20163.0Karl-Heinz K.septiembre 2016Recommended for sightseeingA good place by Romanian standards. Unfortunately on a very noisy, busy thoroughfare, even at night. Friendly operator/sanitary staff. Unsuitable for cycling and unsafe footpath to the next village.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 23 de noviembre de 2016Thank you very much for your review. Noise will certainly be much less when the highway is finished.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 3.0MHMichael H.mayo 20163.0MHMichael H.mayo 2016VentajasClean, spacious facilityDesventajasAlso quite loud at night...Good transit pointAll in all, a usable place with a sound system that we would not have expected in Romania. At the reception we were kindly informed about the biker festival taking place the following day - but it was not mentioned that the sound checks with 150 decibels were already taking place the day before. Otherwise, the campsite is unfortunately located on the very noisy main road.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 23 de noviembre de 2016Thank you for the rating. - 4.0HPHeike P.agosto 20154.0HPHeike P.agosto 2015VentajasGenerous place, pool, lake & restaurant.DesventajasThe reception could have longer opening hours.Good stop for city tripEnough space, many places in the shade. It has a pool, small swimming lake and a restaurant. Very good for city trips to Cluj Napoca and the surrounding mountains. Sanitary was clean and big enough. The noise from the street nearby was not a problem for us.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 23 de noviembre de 2016Thank you for your nice review. - 4.0DRDieter R.agosto 20154.0DRDieter R.agosto 2015VentajasBeautiful pitches. Bathing facilities. Sanitary facilities. Restaurant.DesventajasNoise will certainly be much less when the highway is finished.Beautiful place!Very nice site with beautiful pitches. Good in August 2015: shady pitches! Pond was almost dry. But the small but nice swimming pool was totally refreshing. The noise from the road is audible everywhere, but is reasonably limited if you go right to the edge of the pitch - if free. The noise will certainly... be much less when the highway is finished. The restaurant was good. The food tasted good. However, the road noise is very loud on the terrace. Super (!!!) sanitary facilities. Friendly hosts. Overall: Highly recommended!Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 23 de noviembre de 2016Thank you very much for the nice review.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!

Rinaldo I.junio 20144.0Rinaldo I.junio 2014VentajasWell-kept squaresDesventajas...road traffic...FamiliarI arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning - but what I saw was a campsite that is still looked after with love. I wasn't able to try the restaurant as it was a public holiday and the restaurants were closed. But: I highly recommend this campsite.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 5 de noviembre de 2014Thank you very much for the nice review.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero! - 4.0IRIan R.agosto 20134.0IRIan R.agosto 2013Our first time in Romania and we were delighted to find this excellent site. Very easy to find and close enough to local towns to make it good for sightseeing and tourism. A large site with very good, clean facilities. It could possibly benefit from more clearly marked pitches. Staff were very friendly... and willing to help at any time. The reception had folders with excellent tourist information available. The restaurant serves a limited menu with reasonable food, my goulash was amazing but Jo had to send her fish back. The shop area is very small and it would be useful to stock more items for the visiting camper. There is a nice pool and also a small natural lake for swimming. A good experience and we wouldn't hesitate to use this site again.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 23 de septiembre de 2013Thanks for the nice comment! - 2.0SSSilvana S.agosto 20132.0SSSilvana S.agosto 2013It was very noisy due to the adjacent road, even though we were parked very far down with our motorhome. The reception around 4pm was very impersonal, you feel like someone who has taken a number. All in all, it was okay for one night, just as a transit campsite.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 8 de agosto de 2013Thank you for your review. Special with a tent the choice of a pitch is important. If you don't choose a pitch directly on the road with your motorhome, you won't have any problems with noise. By the way, our guests praise the friendliness of our staff. If you arrive at lunchtime, the reception is closed and perhaps the watchman has let you in. Our reception is open again after lunch time from 16.00 to 22.30.Traducido automáticamente.2 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.
- 4.0RPRalf P.octubre 20124.0RPRalf P.octubre 2012Nice, well-kept, spacious pitch. Very spacious, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine and dryer available. Friendly staff. The only disadvantage: Located directly on the main road (truck transit) and therefore restless at night.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 13 de octubre de 2012Thank you for your good review. Because of the construction of the Transylvanian highway there is now more traffic on the DN1 road. If you don't look for a place directly on the road you have no problem with the noise.Traducido automáticamente.3 campistas encontraron útil esta valoración.

- 4.0MMMateusz M.agosto 20124.0MMMateusz M.agosto 2012Very well maintained camping with a very nice swimming pool, WC and camping places. Disadvantages are poor localization (quite far from Cluj and close to the noisy road) and big prices.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 27 de agosto de 2012Thanks for the nice comment. Our village has also the name "Gate of the Apuseni Mountains" and is situated 1 km. from our campsite. We have a direct bus line to Cluj at our neighbor (500 meters distance). Our prices from the campsite and restaurant are the lowest from all.1 campista encontró útil esta valoración.

Environment is very beautiful. Beautiful nature, culture and entertainment. Visit Cluj Napoca and Turda recommended.Traducido automáticamente.Respondido desde Camping Eldorado 21 de octubre de 2011The new pool is an addition to our beach pool and intended for guests, who prefer not to swim in natural swimming water. There are also deck chairs and umbrellas and a counter for drinks and snacks. The bathing water can also be heated and thus one can swim even longer in the season. Highly recommended is also the jeep safari in the Apuseni Mountains.Traducido automáticamente.Ningún campista ha encontrado útil esta valoraciónaún. ¡Sea el primero!
