Very clean and well-maintained, surrounded by nature yet still close to the city! The Schütte family, who run the campground, are extremely friendly and accommodating—you can always turn to them for help. I really enjoyed my time at this fantastic new campground! At the beach bar, I immediately feel like I’m on vacation in the Caribbean. I’ll definitely be back!

Suggestions for improvement: Insect screens on the windows that open; the direct location on the lake makes it very difficult to air out the room in midsummer (not everyone can tolerate air conditioning for health reasons). A teapot or something for non-coffee drinkers A nightlight by the bed; the beds are very close together, and there’s a risk of bumping into them since you can’t turn on a small light A few more sets of dishes so you’re not constantly forced to wash dishes when the place is fully booked (to save energy) No towel hooks in the bathroom  Toilet paper holder The kitchen at the Rabbitbar is open until 9:00 p.m., but by 8:50 p.m. there were already no more fries left for guests because the kitchen had closed. However, the portion of fries with spare ribs for the service staff at 9:30 p.m. was still available  Sneakers, shorts, or slippers are an absolute NO-GO for kitchen staff—hygiene? For a booking of 4 people, the 4th armchair or comfortable seating spot in the living area is missing.

Clean place, extremely friendly staff, good shop with "reasonable" prices, great bread roll service

There were a few minor issues: - No "manual" disposal for the chemical toilet - No trash can at the outdoor sink - The hot water at the outdoor sink wasn't hot - Coins for the washing machine

Camping area with electrical hookups; you'll need a standard household plug for this

Plenty of sun but very few shaded spots; a beach umbrella, etc., is a plus and important for both people and pets

- Private swimming lake, beach, and playground - Very clean and modern restroom facilities (private restrooms and washhouse) - Very friendly owners who are deeply passionate about their campground - Great starting point for bike tours (bike maps available at the front desk) Just over 3 km to Meppen (downtown)

The parking spot is well-paved and laid out so that you don't have to drive on wedges! We were also able to use the campground's restroom facilities.

There's absolutely nothing to complain about!!!

Private sanitary facilities on almost every pitch high level of comfort, no paths, lots of privacy. Quiet, relaxed site, ideal for anyone looking for relaxation. Dog-friendly - with separate, fenced dog run. New bathing lake, including paddle boat and SUP rental. Bicycle rental also available. Very well-equipped communal kitchen - perfect for campers without their own cooking facilities. Bad weather recreation room - with games corner and table football. glamping and rental accommodation - Charlys and glamping pods right by the lake.

Card payment only - currently no cash payment possible, e.g. in the store.

Everything was totally great! The pitch was super clean and the staff very friendly! We had actually rented a pitch without private sanitary facilities but as our booked pitch was under water we were spontaneously upgraded to a pitch with private sanitary facilities free of charge. We'll definitely be back, but next time with private sanitary facilities! 😃
