"Clean, and that's it! - Sanitary facilities with standing toilet or bowl without glasses no toilet paper, standard of the 60s, hot water not available, pool unsuitable for children. Sports and playground closes at 19.00 although it is not quiet until 23.00. Access roads very narrow to unsuitable for motorhomes and caravans. No parking facilities at check-in. Parking lots far away and subject to charges. Never again!

"Camping vacation at the Klosterhof - It wasn't our first time at Campeggio Toscolano, but whether by motorcycle, car, motorhome, caravan, in rental accommodation or at the campsite, it was a great vacation every time! Located directly on the lake, a supermarket within walking distance, good food in the restaurant on site, quick access to the mountains around the lake, everything just fits!

"Friendly staff, clean mobile home, very quiet place - We stayed in a mobile home from June 7-11, 2019. The accommodation was absolutely clean and also good value for money. However, we went to the wash house to shower because the shower in the mobile home was too small for us. The showers in the wash house were always clean, I can't say anything about the toilet blocks because I didn't use them. There was no children's disco which was a shame for our daughter. Nice helpful staff, beautifully situated site, good restaurant. Two pools, one of which was closed for renovation.

"No recovery - Campsite is poorly organized, shower water lukewarm, no power supply, no WiFi, noisy due to the defective solar system and the paper factory nearby. Despite complaints, the shortcomings were only slowly or not at all rectified

"We will not be back. - I visit this place every year and have done so since 1972. In the last 10 years it has gotten worse from year to year. The location alone has kept me visiting this campsite. The sanitary facilities are a disaster. Apart from 6 toilets, there are only holes in the floor, so you have to squat down. Dirt and mold everywhere you look. Cleaning staff totally overwhelmed. The cleaning ladies carry cleaning products and utensils in shopping carts from the neighboring "Migross" supermarket. The hotel laundry is piled up in gray bags in a corner of the main building under the pool. It drips through the ceiling everywhere. The campsite is used by hotel guests as a dog toilet. We sit in front of our caravan at dinner and the first thing you see is a big pile of dog poo in front of the table. In the evening, a dog pees on the pitch every 5 minutes as it is surrounded by 4 trees. It smells accordingly. The whole site is unkempt. Not suitable for children. Annimation takes place in the evening on the beach in the form of a children's disco. The children's disco is advertised from 10pm to 11pm, but it usually ends after 20 minutes and the disappointment is correspondingly great. So if you are looking for an unkempt campsite with inadequate hygiene and want to pay €70 for 5 people, then "Camping Toscolano" is the place for you. The price includes 3 A electricity / 720 watts. So better leave the air conditioning and coffee machine at home.

Built inside the walls of an ancient monastery of the fourteenth century, the Toscolano Camping is surrounded by wide bloomy gardens.It has a private beach, wide lay-bies, modern sanitary fittings, internal sale, restaurant with fish specialities, bar, tavern and pizza-restaurant. …For sport lovers we have two swimming pools, one of them for children, tennis courts in red ground, a football field ground inside the camping and another one near the camping. In addition to the fix presence of various games for adults and children, the Toscolano Camping offers in summer time a very organized animation made by qualified staff at adult's and children's service: every year we organize sport tournaments, recreational activities at every day and night of the whole week; chance to book horse rides. For people preferring a more confortable accomodation, even for longer periods, new furnished apartments are available for 2 to 6 persons with TV-SAT, safe, telephone, Bungalows, CHALET fully furnished provided with a cooking corner, Roulottes for up to 4 persons. The camping is situated near Toscolano's historical centre where you 'll have the possibility to see old historical buildings and Churches of the XIV and XVII century and the famous and highly suggestive "Paper mill valley" with its historical remains, a breath-taking view and many paths for trekking and mountain-bike.
