justo al lado del lago
Desventajas

Location by the lake and near the promenade Showers and lounge chairs on the beach Regular cleaning of the restrooms Friendly staff Electricity and water at the site On-site restaurant Shaded sites
Desventajas
The lake is heavily infested with algae One of the restroom buildings is outdated A central trash disposal facility; access by card only Bicycle paths are one-way and unpaved Small pool where swim caps are required
Camping right on the lake
Depending on the campsite, the proximity to the water is ideal.
The beautiful promenade, with several restaurants, is within walking distance.
Showers and free beach chairs are available on the beach.
The restrooms are cleaned regularly.
Friendly, German-speaking staff at the front desk.
Electricity... and water available at the site.
Restaurant on-site with a good selection of food.
There’s also an ATM, an ice cream shop, and a small convenience store.
Bread rolls available by advance order only.
There’s a small supermarket in town.
A large shopping center is about a 20-minute bike ride away.
The lake is heavily infested with algae (extreme odor).
One of the restroom buildings is outdated (central location).
A waste disposal facility at the end of the campground; access is by card only.
Bike paths are one-way only and, in some places, very natural.
Small pool where swim caps are required, located right next to the road. Not for those seeking peace and quiet.

Proximity to Feriolo
Desventajas
Loud street
Overwhelming space
This is the 3rd time we've stayed here, always only for 1-2 nights. It's quite good for this. You can get to Feriolo on foot via the promenade. The site itself is well looked after and some of the staff are friendly. The sanitary facilities are very good and clean by Italian standards. The pitches are... large, but have the character of a parking space. The adjacent road is very annoying, depending on where you are. Now in October there were only a few pitches available. Most of them were already cordoned off. Still recommended for an overnight stay.

beautiful location on the lake beautiful sandy beach also for children friendly, fairly quiet, pleasant atmosphere relatively clean very close to the town center
Desventajas
Sanitary facilities simple and too few, therefore not really clean Restaurant not very good - but there are others in the immediate vicinity
Pleasant, manageable campsite directly on Lake Maggiore
Pleasant, manageable campsite directly on Lake Maggiore.
Beautiful sandy beach, clean and shallow, suitable for children. Additional pool and entertainment for the little ones.
Sufficiently large pitches, easy access.

Very friendly staff at reception. Pleasant atmosphere.
Sanitary facilities quite basic... and reasonably clean (not enough for the size of the pitch)

Restaurant not recommendable; unfriendly, food was not good.

Small store with the essentials. There is a small A&O supermarket nearby: very well stocked, friendly service and good prices,

Feriolo is a nice little town on the lake, with a few restaurants and bars. The cycle path to the nearest towns is typically Italian: only for the brave!
Boat trips to the surrounding markets and to the Borromean Islands almost daily.
There is a great supermarket with agricultural products (Cooparative) and a well-stocked camping store within walking distance.

Conclusion: a really recommendable CP.

We received a very friendly welcome. It was easy to upgrade to the front row. We felt very comfortable on the pitch right from the start. We would love to come back. Highly recommended

Large flat plots
Desventajas
No urinals for men, so the toilets are often not very hygienic because of the standing pee-pees
Good location
Beautifully situated campsite directly on the lake with sufficiently large pitches for caravans with awnings and cars. Only a few shady pitches near the lake. In the rear part, pitches mainly under tall trees and therefore in the shade. Directly adjacent to the village of Feriolo with a small lakeside... promenade and a few restaurants.
Sanitary facilities generally clean and of a normal standard, but without urinals for men. Small store on site where you can get the essentials. Fresh bread rolls are available every morning, but in the high season we always had to queue for 15-20 minutes in the morning to get them.
The beach is ideal for small children to swim, as the water only gets deeper slowly, but is not very clean (seaweed, silt).
Friendly ladies at the reception. At least in the high season, about 95% of the campers are from Holland, many of them with children. Children's entertainment is in Dutch. As a German or Swiss you are an outsider on the site.

#Price in the high season
Good place but too expensive in high season
We stayed at this site for 3 days with our dog and 3 people as a stopover from Sardinia to Germany. The campsite and sanitary facilities were well maintained and clean. Despite the beach, there was a swimming pool with lifeguard and swimming caps compulsory. The beach on the lake was from the campsite,... but dogs were not allowed there. At these prices a dog should be allowed on the beach or the fee for the dog should be cheaper. The main road was not too noisy except for the sirens of the many ambulances. Restaurant has some catching up to do.

Beautiful location directly on the lake
Desventajas
Setting up the Wowa, toilet paper, WLAN, hardly any shade
Clean, loud, without toilet paper
Nice location, clean, sanitary facilities without toilet paper, everyone walks with their own roll under their arm, pizza was only available after 18:30 on Mondays, in the first row the caravans sit on when turning in, the only thing that helps is to hang up and reverse over with a mover, all trees are radically cut back, no shade. WLAN only for one device

Feriolo is just a stone's throw away on foot. There is a well-stocked A and O and a fine wine/ cheese/ salami bar and pizzas!
Desventajas
Not far to walk to Baveno but partly without a footpath so you have to walk on the road
Great place right on the small promenade of Feriolo
We were here for the 1st week of Pentecost. Pitch at the front by the lake😎was totally quiet. Pitches at the back were noisier due to the road, pitches in and to the left very close to nature with frogs. Delivered a top-class frog concert at night... We really liked it. Toilets and showers are cleaned... several times a day. Bring your own toilet paper. But no problem, space is cheap so that's okay! Nice pool, unfortunately doesn't open until 11am but no lunch break. Ice cream mega delicious!!! Kiosk sellers in a great mood! I could just go there again!

narrow access roads. w-lan and internet limited, few TV options.
fully booked
Large campsite, international, heavily wooded (must because of the heat) centrally located on the Lago beach and its own swimming pool. Large restaurant. Internet not very good or for a fee, TV only available to a limited extent. Night's rest is not always respected. Access to the pitches very narrow, although even large motorhomes can get there. up to 8.50m height over 3.20m just about.

Used to be my favorite place on the lake...
After many vacations on the Orchidea I had to realize this year that this is no longer my place. The owner has upgraded the place a lot for 2017, but I think only to the detriment, the entire entrance area is now paved with mobile homes, the place now has a swimming pool, the clientele are now mostly... campers with large mobile homes, access control to the place only with a chip on the bracelet, unfortunately the original Orchidea flair was completely lost, too bad about the beautiful place! Not recommended in the main holiday periods! The place was already completely overcrowded with Italians before the Whitsun vacations BW / By.

Beach unkempt + stinks due to drying algae + mud of the inflowing old water, bathing almost impossible due to large, prickly waterweed
Never again
Beach unkempt + smelly due to rotting algae + mud from the old water flowing in. You had to wade through this brackish water halfway across the campsite, about knee- to waist-high. The neighboring municipal beach was better maintained, or rather, just. Unfortunately, bathing was almost impossible due... to carpets of large, tall, spiky mermaid weed. Despite rinsing off immediately, an itchy rash developed. The floor was littered with colonies of burst, sharp-edged mussel shells. So only go in with bathing shoes if at all. Many did not bathe.

nice little place
Nice place compared to other places but a little further away from the road, so that this was not perceived as disturbing. From the campsite you can walk directly into Feriolo, where you will find a small supermarket, various restaurants and bars. The sanitary facilities were always cleaned regularly,... even when the campsite was very full over Easter, the facilities were always clean. The small supermarket on the campsite always provided bread rolls in the morning.

pleasant campsite without much hustle and bustle
Nice campsite, in the small village of Feriolo with its own beach. The campsite is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, the place is also ideal for motorcyclists for trips to Switzerland or in the region. The sanitary facilities are also fine. The staff are friendly! We would gladly come again when we are in the area.

Ventajas
Directly on the lake, access to the village directly from the campsite, clean sanitary facilities, quiet location of the pitches by the lake
Desventajas
No waste water connection on the pitch, waste water disposal only possible at a central point.
Beautiful place with access to the village
Nice little pitch on Lake Maggiore, the only one of the pitches near Feriolo to offer direct access to the small town. So you don't have to take a detour along the busy road. The site itself has its own beach, level and sufficiently large pitches and, at least during our visit, very clean sanitary facilities.... These are certainly not up to the 5-star standard of some large sites, but compared to other sites on Lake Maggiore they are quite new and equipped with toilet seats, for example. However, you have to bring your own toilet paper, and you will also look in vain for urinals in the men's toilet... The pitches are level, mostly shaded and some are quite a distance from the lake. There are about 10 pitches directly in the first row by the lake, but you can also have a nice view of the lake from some of the pitches behind. The pitches near the lake are very quiet, towards the road you can certainly hear the traffic, which also flows there at night. Overall, we were very satisfied, also with the friendly welcome at reception and in the small supermarket.
