"10 days, my first vacation in Croatia - Nice campground (with no restrictions) We stayed at this campground for 10 nights during summer vacation (we’d already booked it on December 25). We were assigned a site in the second row from the sea. No problem—great location. There was a restaurant right behind us, so it smelled like food starting around noon. Around 8 p.m., the nightlife kicked off. Loud music from the promenade carried on well into the night. The campground is separated from the beach by a road. However, that didn’t bother us at all during this stay. The loud music lasting into the night was a definite downside. The beach is really beautiful. At times, it was extremely crowded. We were already aware of that beforehand. The water was pleasant and crystal clear. The prices for umbrellas and lounge chairs weren’t worth it for us—at 30 euros a day, it was just too much. The restrooms are in top condition. It seems like there’s always a cleaning staff member on site at every restroom building. The campsites are generously sized. Some are very sunny with no shade. The campground has various amenities; you can enjoy ice cream and snacks on-site. There’s also a bakery on the grounds. You can use the pool. Shopping options like Lidl, etc., are located in ĶRK. On-site, there are small shops for “emergency needs” and a “Tommy,” though they’re quite pricey. BASKA is a beautiful place. However, 10 days here is too far removed from everyday life for us. We’d consider a week sufficient, especially because of the “Ballermann vibe.” With only two showers available in our Comfort Mare area, we had to wait in line in the evening. You could get through the shower faster if the water didn’t suddenly turn cold in the middle, forcing you to wait for it to clear and let the water run off. On top of that, the shower has an extremely short run time, and you constantly have to press the button again (4 sec). A warm shower should really be included in the daily rate.

"Top campsite - Top campsite in the best location for us in relation to the town and for hiking. Sufficient wash houses that are cleaned several times a day.

"Beautiful campsite - A really great campsite. We had a shady, quiet spot with ACSI A really great sani which was constantly cleaned. The village of Baska is within walking distance and very cute at the back Beautiful little bays nearby Great mountain panorama, a little further to the beach from our pitch

"Vacation with dog - On the whole a nice campsite. Back part of the campsite by the sea very nice. Water turquoise blue and clear glass. Sanitary facilities clean at peak times you have to queue to shower. Cute town center directly adjacent with nice restaurants for a good stroll. Drink coffee or cocktails with a view of the sea. We will be back,)

"Never again - We have already been to reception today to complain. We clearly expected more from Premium Mare. The fence is constantly covered with towels and swimsuits by the beach guests, so you no longer have a view of the sea and can only look at other people's swimsuits. The beach is completely overcrowded and you have to climb over towels to get to the water, there are no paths you could use. The garbage from the beach guests flies through the fence onto our pitches and is not removed here, we also reported this to reception. We picked up the garbage from the bathers ourselves every morning. This is not a good situation, there should be staff to clean the first pitches every morning. We pay €100 a night here and you can simply expect more. There are far too few toilets and shower facilities at sanitary facilities 1 & 2, so you have to queue at almost any time of day. Or take the long way to shower house 3. There is no path lighting on the paths to the Premium Fronte Mare pitches and you would have expected waste water at this price. Yesterday evening was the icing on the cake. Strangers who did not belong to the campsite harassed the campers in the front row from the beach. They wanted to barbecue on our pitches with the charcoal barbecue, but of course we forbade this and they moved on to the next neighbor. There they were lucky, the campers from the plot let the men barbecue there, the barbecue was then dumped in a dustbin on the beach as hot as it was. Our men noticed this and told the men that it was dangerous and the barbecue had to be put out. The strangers then became very aggressive and very loud. They didn't understand that it could start burning. Afterwards, the said strange men relieved themselves through the fences on our laundry racks (peed against them)....unfortunately there were no signs left.

"Nice campsite in a good location - Campsite has a great location right on the beach. Baska is within walking distance. We stayed on a Premium Mare pitch for 2 weeks. The pitch was very small and the access road was also very narrow. The wash houses had not yet been renovated and there were far too few available. Because of Corona, the pitch was far from full in August and at peak times we would have had to queue for ages at the wash houses. Another big disadvantage is that the beach in front of the campsite is public and therefore hopelessly overcrowded. There was already a lot going on here and it was supposedly only 50% of the usual occupancy in high season. The beach and the sea were very nice for the children as it was shallow for a long time. There are also 3 large water slides on the beach. The pool area at the campsite is new but very small and only ideal for smaller children. It's also great that you can be in Baska in a few minutes with numerous shops and restaurants.
