"Außergewöhnlich ruhig und schön gelegen - Teilweise in Terrassen angelegte (geschotterte) Stellplätze für Caravans und Wohnmobile. Eignet sich hervorragend als Standort zur Erkundung von Trotternish. Herrlicher Blick auf Staffin Bay. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

" - Die Aussicht von Campingplatz auf die Berge von Skye ist klasse. Vom Platz aus ist auch per kurzem Fußweg die Küste erreichbar. Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge (bei entsprechendem Wetter). Großartig. Die Stellplätze sind für Zelte sehr uneben, auch die für Caravans offenbar (da wurde heftig rangiert). Da der Platz fast am Nordende von Skye liegt, ist auf der in der Nähe liegenden Straße wenig Betrieb - nachts haben wir absolut keine Störgeräusche gehabt. Die Sanitäranlagen hinterlassen einen zwiespältigen Eindruck. Das positive: es wurde offenbar zweimal täglich gut gereinigt. Der Haken: die Anlage ist eigentlich völlig veraltet und in eher mäßigem Zustand. Dafür ist der Platz mit 11 Euro Gebühren für ein Zelt (die meisten lagen 2011 bei um 20 Euro) günstig. Soweit uns berichtet wurde, ist dieser Platz trotz der altertümlichen Sanitärausstattung der mit Abstand beste auf Skye.

" - Sehr ruhiger Platz, Stellplätze etwas schwierig am Hang. Sanit. Anlagen alt, aber sauber, bei Vollbesetzung zu wenig. Möglichkeit zu Fuss über die Wiese an die Steilküste zu gehen, ca. 15 Min. Freundliches Personal.
