"Super Platz für Familie mit Kindern - Aufenthalt mit Wohnmobil, Platz 204, 2 Erwachsene, keine Kinder. Wir haben den gut bewerteten Campingplatz gewählt, um die Umgebung von Spital/Döbriach zu erkunden (kein Badeurlaub). Die Besonderheiten/Attraktionen der Umgebung wollten wir im Internet erkunden. Das sollte kein Problem sein, der der Campingplatz wirbt mit schnellen Glasfasernetz und extrem schnellem WLAN. Unser Fazit: Für Urlaube mit Kindern ein idealer Campingplatz. Viele Spielmöglichkeiten und Animationsprogramm für Kinder. Bestens ausgestattete Sanitärräumlichkeiten mit separaten Jugendbereichen (6 – 14 Jahren). Wesentlicher Haken: WLAN funktionierte 3 Tage völlig ungenügend: Es benötigte mehrere Versuche, um eine Verbindung zum Internet herzustellen und wenn diese endlich geschafft war, war die Verbindung katastrophal schlecht: am 1. Tag Download-/Uploadgeschwindigkeit: 1,4/0,2 Mbps. Da waren die Geschwindigkeiten im letzten Jahrtausend schneller. Das Problem habe ich bei der Rezeption gemeldet und mir wurde zugesagt, dass ein Techniker sich darum kümmern wird. Leider wurde nichts besser. 2. Tag: Down/Up: 1,51/0,26 Mbps und 3. Tag: 0,82/0,28 Mbps. Letztlich mussten wir an drei Tagen über die Hotspots unserer Handys surfen!

"Mr - We will come back, we really enjoyed our visit. Dogs could be walked in the outside park and area. Quite strict rules on dogs inside the campground.

"Ein Paradies für Familien - Da unser Urlaub nun fast zu Ende ist möchte ich unsere Eindrücke vermitteln die vielleicht doch ganz interessant sind, da wir doch unter anderen Voraussetzungen Urlaub machen wie die meisten anderen Camper. Als wir uns für die Reise zum Camping Burgstaller entschieden haben, habe ich im Vorfeld natürlich die Bewertungen gelesen und neben den bei weiten überwiegend tollen auch die schlechten Bewertungen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind ein wahres Highlight und die Sauberkeit ist tadellos.Hier muss man den Reinigungskräften ein großes Lob aussprechen. Man sieht auf diesem Platz wirklich auf den ersten Blick wie viel Leidenschaft und Herzblut da dahinter steckt und mit welchem Einsatz hier seitens der Betreiberfamilie und der Angestellten gearbeitet wird. Wie bereits Anfangs erwähnt ist bei uns doch einiges anders, da wir zwei beeinträchtigte Kinder haben und Dinge wie Toleranz und Verständnis für uns nicht selbstverständlich sind. Vom Camping Burgstaller können wir auschließlich positive Dinge berichten und von der Rezeption bis hin zum Chef sind alle super freundlich und hilfbereit. Wir haben unsere Kinder selten so glücklich gesehen wie beim Camping Burgstaller egal ob im Burgstaller Express mit dem Chef, im Strandbad oder beim Animationsprogramm von Fabienne und ihrem tollen Team.

"Nach wie vor ein toller Campingplatz - Wir waren das 2. Mal beim Burgstaller. Es ist nach wie vor einer der besten Plätze die wir je besucht haben. Vermutlich was die Sanitären Anlagen betrifft sogar der Beste. Dazu das sehr, sehr gute Freizeitprogramm und Freizeitangebot für Kinder. Aber nicht nur für die Kinder, es wird auch an die Erwachsenen gedacht. Über die tolle Lage am Millstätter See braucht man gar nichts schreiben, es ist fantastisch. Aber zu dem was uns dieses Jahr, im Gegensatz zum letzten Jahr, aufgefallen ist. Vorweg, wir sind Hundebesitzer und waren auch zum 2. Mal mit unserem Hund da. Der Platz ist übersäht mit Verbotsschildern für Hunde. Hier dürfen sie nicht hin, da dürfen sie nicht hin, dort dürfen sie nicht hin pinkeln, sowieso die Hinterlassenschaften aufsammeln, etc. Alles ist richtig, und für uns als Hundebesitzer selbstverständlich. Aber man fühlt sich eben als Hundebesitzer nicht wirklich willkommen. Zudem hat der Chef, während unseres Aufenthaltes, 2 Mal in den Sozialen Medien des Platzes laut darüber nachgedacht, Hunde ab der nächsten Saison nicht mehr aufzunehmen. Wir würden es schade finden und Burgstaller leider nicht mehr anfahren. Aber abgesehen davon, ist es ein toller Campingplatz. Macht weiter so.

Profile

Nestled in a magnificent high mountain landscape in Carinthia's southern climate lies the second largest body of water in the country. Lake Millstätter See with its shallow beach (Carinthia's most beautiful natural bathing beaches are located here) and water temperatures …of up to 27 degrees in midsummer is rightly referred to as the ‘Carinthian Adriatic’. Thanks to its central location, there are countless opportunities for day trips and hikes in the surrounding Nockberge mountains with their mountain roads, cable cars and chairlifts. The fact that Carinthia lies south of the main Alpine ridge and is only separated from the Mediterranean region by the Carnic Pre-Alps and Karawanken mountains is reflected in the climate, which is already described as Mediterranean and ensures wonderfully warm summers. Here we have built our camping park on 8 hectares of meadows, surrounded by shrubs and trees, away from the noise of traffic and yet only 100 metres from the shores of Lake Millstatt. The camping pitches are equipped with TV connection, WLAN, drinking water and electricity. There is a large playground by the lake with a water slide, trampoline and sand playground. The campsite has its own lido, two restaurants and a shop. You can take part in numerous activities at the campsite, which has a football pitch, a beach volleyball court, a bowling alley, a basketball court, an indoor playground (over two floors), an event arena with a show stage for entertainment programmes and a cinema. A top entertainment programme for children and adults ensures lots of fun! Our ponies and a riding centre await our younger guests. We look forward to your visit!
