"Small idyllic square - Fine for a night in transit. The access roads from the highway are sometimes a bit narrow and confusing. No restaurant on site, but we wanted to go to Innsbruck anyway. The pitch is sloping, which meant that the caravan had to be leveled out a lot.

"Great cinema! - A super nice, small campsite. The staff are extremely friendly. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was great. Particularly noteworthy is the receipt of a Welcome Card (for multiple overnight stays), with which you can use public transport free of charge and receive various discounts on mountain railroads, cultural offers or, for example, swimming pools. The campsite is a good starting point for various hikes. The loud ringing of the church, which is right next door, was a little annoying. The positive side effect: you wake up early and can make the most of the day!

"Beautiful campsite, very good (also) for overnight stays - The campsite makes a beautiful and well-kept overall impression. Due to its proximity to the access road to the Brenner highway, it is also ideal for overnight stays. Also suitable for a nice longer vacation. In April we got to know the simplest and best booking system we have ever experienced: on arrival you choose a free pitch, take a form with an envelope and fill it in with your details. On departure, you drop the envelope with the money in the letterbox on a trust basis. It couldn't be simpler or better! Many thanks for this trust.

"Very good place - We stayed here twice overnight and everything was perfect. The reserved pitch was advertised, the friendly baker came to the pitch at 8 a.m. and the registration was friendly and uncomplicated. Nostalgic the church bell in regular friendliness, who does not like it will find it as noise, we found it quaint. We will be back!

"4 days in and around Innsbruck - Joachim Glatz - July 25, 2017 An excellent campsite between Hall and Innsbruck (each about 10 km away). We felt very comfortable there. Very nice operators, top sanitary facilities and the location at the foot of a beautiful church and the mountains is simply picturesque. The pitches themselves are spacious. We were able to pitch three tents and our car there without any problems. When you check in, you get a guest card with various discounts, e.g. free use of public transport to Innsbruck, which is really great. But beware: since 01.05.2017 this guest card is no longer accepted as it has been replaced by a welcome card. We had friendly bus drivers who turned a blind eye, but we also had to pay a few times. At this point, I would like to appeal to the operator: please take care of the Welcome Card.😊

"Beautiful place near Innsbruck - We used Camping Judenstein as a stopover to get back to the Vogtland from Lake Endine and it was quite cheap. The telephone contact asking if we could just come without a reservation was very friendly and uncomplicated. Unfortunately, we didn't make it there by 7pm and the reception was no longer occupied. We took a pitch and asked again by phone whether the pitch was OK, which was confirmed very kindly. The campsite immediately made a very pleasant and well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but are in a very clean condition. There is a cozy, covered seating area next to the sanitary building, which is great for eating. We used the evening for a walk. The area is perfect for this. The site is certainly a very good starting point for exploring the Tyrol around Innsbruck. In the morning, a baker came right up to our pitch and brought fresh, delicious bread rolls. A great thing! The permanent campers seem to be very open-minded towards the tourist campers and I had a very pleasant conversation with a permanent camper who had put up a sign on his accommodation saying "Griaß enk!" (Greetings!). You are welcome here. A pleasant feeling! The next morning we were able to pay for our stay with the friendly receptionist and travel on home. All in all, a very nice place that is somewhat hidden but certainly has a lot of potential.

Due to renovation work, the campsite is currently closed! Reservations for 2026 can be made on our website from mid-November 2025. We will open at the beginning of May 2026. The Judenstein Campground is a small camping spot in a …beautiful setting between the forest’s edge and the church - a place where you can enjoy the quiet of the country, yet still be close to Innsbruck (the state capital) and Hall’s historic old town. Many visitors use the campground as a base for hikes in the mountains, leisurely strolls or extended mountainbike tours. Because of its favorable location, it’s an ideal stop-off point on the way south, even if you only wish to spend a single night. In the immediate vicinity of the campground you’ll find a kiosk, along with a grocery store in the town center.
