"Tja.... - Beautiful campsite, just a pity that a highway over a viaduct is almost right above the campsite. So noisy (also at night)

" found by chance on tour - very nice location. super friendly and helpful food really good. great surroundings. great to ride a motorcycle. Small beautifully situated place. will go again!

El Camping Bungalow Puerto Peña es un lugar lleno de encanto, agradable, relajante y lleno de plantas diferentes y abundante sombra natural en medio de un entorno bellísimo al este de Extremadura. Es un camping con mucho encanto en el …que prestamos especial atención a los pequeños detalles. Está situado a orillas del Guadiana, entre los embalses de García Sola y Orellana. Además, tenemos al lado tres pantanos más, cada uno con su peculiaridad en cuanto a peces se refiere, lo que hace las delicias de pescadores de orilla y de barca. El Camping Bungalow Puerto Peña pertenece a la comarca de Los Lagos de la provincia de Badajoz. Esta zona es apreciada internacionalmente como el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la naturaleza en estado puro y de gran cantidad de actividades asociadas, como senderismo, rutas en bici o en moto, escalada, deportes acuáticos, paseos en barco... También presume de ser un paraíso para los amantes de las aves, ya que cigüeñas negras, avutardas, alimoches, y buitres leonados entre otros, se divisan fácilmente desde el camping sin necesidad de prismáticos. Nosotros te podemos asesorar sobre lugares de especial interés para encontrar lo que buscas. Cuidamos al turista venga de donde venga y le informamos con sumo gusto sobre las posibilidades de la zona y sus intereses. Por eso, tenemos carteles y menús en cuatro idiomas distintos. La barbacoa de gas está permitida en cualquier época del año, no así la de leña o carbón, que queda prohibida por las autoridades durante los meses de más calor debido al riesgo de incendio. Por todo esto y por el ambiente agradable que se respira, por el trato amable y cercano del personal del camping, las noches de Extremadura con el cielo estrellado más espectacular, la maravillosa piscina, la terraza de la cafetería donde disfrutar de los mejores ratos con amigos y familia... Por todo esto y más, nuestro camping es visitado cada año y cada vez más por miles de personas de toda Europa y de diferentes partes del mundo que quedan prendados de la magia de Puerto Peña. Es, sin duda, el mejor lugar para desconectar y pasar tus días libres como tú mereces.

¿CÓMO LLEGAR? GPS: 39.13680/-5.18393 a) Si vienes desde Madrid: N-V hasta Talavera de la Reina (desvío Cazalegas- Talavera). Después coge la N- 502, dirección Herrera del Duque. Pasado Castilblanco, toma el desvío a Valdecaballeros. Bordeando el embalse, dirección Presa García …Sola. Al llegar a la presa veréis ya indicaciones del camping, que está un kilómetro más allá. b) Si vienes de Portugal, Badajoz, Mérida : Toma la N-V hasta Torrefresneda, donde hay que coger la desviación a N-430 (dirección Ciudad Real). Justo el el Kilómetro 167 el desvío te introduce en el camping. c) Si vienes de Ciudad Real o Valencia: N- 430, kilómetro 167, y el desvío te lleva al camping. d) Si vienes desde Córdoba, coge la A-432 en dirección Espiel. Después toma la A-422 (Villanueva del Duque-Hinojosa del Duque) Ex- 104 hasta Cabeza del Buey. Ex- 323 hasta Puebla de Alcocer. Gira a la derecha en dirección Talarrubias (ex 103), y aquí tienes dos opciones: 1.Peor carretera, pero más bonita: Continúa hasta enlazar con BA-138, que sale a la izquierda, indicando Embalse García Sola. Continuar, atravesar el Poblado de Puerto Peña y al llegar a un cruce al lado de la presa del embalse García Sola, girar a la izquierda. Cruzas la presa y giras a la izquierda otra vez. Llegarás a una rotonda, segunda salida, seguir unos metros de frente, y te encontrarás el cartel de camping, indicando hacia la izquierda. El camping está al final del camino. 2.Salir de Puebla de Alcocer, girar a la derecha dirección Talarrubias, coger el desvío que sale a la derecha para meterse en el pueblo. Justo al pasar la gasolinera hay un cruce a la izquierda. Ir dirección Casas de Don Pedro. Cuando se pase el pueblo, que queda a la izquierda, coger la N-430 dirección Ciudad Real (a la derecha). Coger la salida 167, que está a unos 10 kms. Ahí ya hay cartel de camping.
