"A Wonderful Vacation by the Sea - A beautiful campground in a great location—but some drawbacks with the campsites Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The campground is set in a truly beautiful pine forest and is very close to the ocean. The pebble beach is gorgeous, and the water is crystal-clear in the right spots. We were also impressed by the facilities on the campground: there’s a bakery, good shopping options, and an entertainment program. The restrooms were always clean and still look relatively new. Another big plus is the location for day trips: it’s a great bike ride from here to Rovinj—a truly beautiful route. The only downside: Unfortunately, our campsite was right across from the trash collection area. It was extremely noisy there in the mornings due to the garbage trucks and bottle collectors, which put an end to our night’s rest pretty early. Bottom line: If you can get a spot that’s a little further away from the trash containers and the water park, this campground is highly recommended! We really enjoyed our stay.

"A lot has changed - For us it will be a farewell vacation - it was too loud and far too crowded. Due to the changes, we will be looking for a place with a slipway. We wish everyone else a pleasant time on Polari.

"Well ....... once and not again - A much too large, confusing campsite (small town) Very expensive, you always pay up to 6 people even if you only arrive as a couple (ridiculous). Aperol at the beach bar for almost 10,-€!!! There are far too many dogs on the CP, barking dog pee and dog poop everywhere. But the best are the so-called masters who either throw the bags into the hedge or simply leave the poop lying around. These morons even let the pooches into the water next to children on the beach and still think they are right, although there are dog beaches --- but this fringe group is not interested. There are only discussions with the morons. It's best to walk on the so-called "Gassistrassen" with rubber boots. Hopefully every dog owner who behaves like this will get a good shitting in their motorhome. -- Not all dog owners are like this, but many are. When going to the toilet every day, you may have to queue because there are not enough toilets. After the cleaning ladies have cleaned it is clean, but not for long.

Rovinj is just 3.5 km away and can be reached by bike or on foot along the coastal cycle and hiking trail. The pitches start right by the sea and gently ascend into the shade of the fragrant pine forest.
