"Frau MB - Alles perfekt ein wunderschöner Campingplatz.kann mich den Kommentaren nur anschließen. Ende September sind wir fast alleine auf dem Platz leider schließt der Platz am 1. Wochenende im Oktober .

"Lovely peaceful campsite in a beautiful location - We stayed at this site for 3 nights and would have liked to stay for much longer. It's a lovely peaceful place with friendly and helpful owners. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area which is very beautiful.

"Een heerlijk rustige camping in een schitterende omgeving! - Aan het einde van het dal waar de camping ligt is het Monte Rosa massief, dat wel vergeleken wordt met de Himalaya! Dit jaar ben ik weer ruim 2 weken op de camping geweest, en ik kom zeker nog vaker terug! Er is zoveel te doen; prachtige (berg) wandelingen maken, met de kabelbaan of stoeltjeslift naar een bergtop. Kinderen vanaf een jaar of 6 kunnen kleine tochten lopen, bijvoorbeeld naar een alpenweide of refuge, pootjebaden en spelen met stenen in de rivier ( op loopadstand van de camping), het goudmuseum bezoeken, of zwemmen op een “ geheime plek” in de rivier ( stukje met de auto en 10 minuten lopen). Of verder weg: zwemmen in het Mergozzo meer of lago d’Orta. Ook een bezoek aan de pitoreske plaats Domodossola is een aanrader, zeker als er markt is. Het lijkt alsof het leven heeft stilgestaan in het Anzasca dal; authentieke dorpjes en vriendelijke mensen. De camping zelf is zeer rustig, ook omdat er geen auto’s bij de tent of caravan staan ( die staan op een aparte parkeerplaats), hierdoor is het niet alleen lekker rustig, maar heb je ook veel ruimte om je tent of caravan. Er zijn vlak bij de camping kleine winkeltjes voor de dagelijkse boodschappen, maar Boodschappen kun je ook heel goed doen in Domodossola ( 25 minuten rijden); daar zitten verschillende grote supermarkten. Of aan het einde van het dal in Macugnaga; dit is een lieflijk dorpje waar je de Walser invloed goed kunt zien. En in het dal zijn verschillende mogelijkheden voor Canyoning!

"Klein, einfach und schön - Der Platz ist einfach gehalten, naturnah und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche schöne Wanderungen. Wir fühlten uns nie beobachtet und konnten unseren Aufenthalt in Ruhe verbringen. Die Hauptstrasse führt nahe am Platz vorbei... Leider ist es eine Zumutung für andere Gäste und das Personal, wie die sanitären Einrichtungen von gewissen Campinggästen verlassen werden... :(

"Voor wie rust en ruimte zoekt - Primq camping voor de basiskampeererder. Ruime plaatsen in zon of schaduw. Sanitair verouderd maar schoon, brood bestellen kan. Veel wandelmogelijkheden vanaf de camping. Het indrukwekkende monte rosa massief ligt op 15 km.

Profile

The camping Camping Monte Rosa is a small campsite in Valle Anzasca, one of the seven valleys of Val d'Ossola. The campsite was founded in 1962, the new era started in 2019 with the entry on a new owner with …the committement to create a unique back to nature experience. The area The campsite is located in Valle Anzasca at 550 meters altitude. At the end of the valley, the mountain massif Monte Rosa starts. The Monte Rosa (4634 meters) is the highest mountain group of the Alps after the Mont Blanc and forms the border between Italy and Switzerland. During the winter, the area is a place for skiing and in the summer a beautiful hiking environment. The walking tracks are easily accessible from the campsite, both on foot and by car. Within 15 minutes, you are in Macugnaga where you can take a cable cab to greater heights. From that point onwards you can even walk to Switzerland! In addition, the campsite is a good starting point to discover Northern Italy with its beautiful lakes.
