We discovered the site more than 10 years ago as a stopover site. The site is very large, with trees but also open spaces. It is very conveniently located near the village of Villeneuve l`Archevque on the N60. Although the sanitary facilities are older, they still work very well and are clean, as the... site is very little frequented. There is a boules court and a tennis court. The village of Courgenay, where the campsite is located, only has a bakery, unfortunately nothing else, just a lot of peace and quiet. In the neighboring village (approx. 5km) there is a supermarket with petrol station and various restaurants. In 2019 we paid 13 euros for an overnight stay with 4 adults/caravan/car/electricity. But what makes the site our first choice is the fact that you can drive onto the site at any time. A sign at the entrance tells you to look for a free pitch and the warden comes by in the morning and evening to collect the fee. No more panic in traffic jams on the highway, you can still drive onto the site at 11 p.m. or even later (like this year), use the showers and sleep peacefully!
