"Croatia 2025 - We visited the campsite for the first time and were very impressed. The campsite is very small and therefore very manageable. The staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. If you expect frills, you are absolutely wrong on this campsite. Bread rolls are available 50m from the site at a small kiosk, the ice cream stand is right next to it. Swimming is possible directly at the lighthouse, access is via rocks. The sea is very clear and clean. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit the campsite.

"Relatively small CP with large pitches - Nice reception. The €20 reservation fee is non-refundable. Large pitches, showers and WLAN included - depending on where you are: there is a road directly past the pitch, as there is a restaurant next to the campsite: vehicles drive past from 7am to 11pm (sometimes at high speed and very loud). But it is quiet at night. Only two showers (shower interval 10 seconds(!) you have to keep pressing - a bit annoying) and 2 toilets - far too few in my opinion. No individual wash cubicles. Two outdoor showers and two sinks. Free dishwasher (tokens). You look in vain for hooks in the laundry room. But it really is always clean. No real view of the sea because the pitches are surrounded by high hedges. No store on site and no bread service. There was a stall next to the campsite selling bread and ice cream. Swimming not possible as there is no beach but rocks. There is a larger campsite nearby which has a small market. However, bread rolls sold out quickly there. There is nothing on the pitch, so the children and teenagers play footballs or badminton on the gravel paths. Conclusion: Small campsite, clean. But I wouldn't give it 5*. Umag is relatively easy to reach by bike, but there are basically few to no cycle paths.

"Great campsite for a stopover - The campsite is located right next to the Savudrija lighthouse. Good opportunities for long walks. Restaurant approx. 1 km away with good, regional dishes. Open daily, even in the off-season. Great, very clean sanitary facilities!

"small, clean, cozy, quiet - A very cozy, small, quiet camp with wonderful 32 pitches. Electricity and water directly on site. There are 2-4 extra large pitches for large mobile homes. There are 3 parking spaces for the night in front of the barrier. Absolutely okay in terms of price, dogs allowed. Sanitary facilities a bit sparse. 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 washbasins. There are also 2 outdoor showers. Strangely enough, however, there was NEVER a blockage at the wash house. And there was ALWAYS, really always, a cleaner there. The whole day was spent cleaning and tidying up. Washing machine and dryer also available. For a fee. Dishwasher also free of charge. W-lan is unfortunately not very good. It's fine at reception, you log in there, but by the time you get to your pitch you're often out again.... Store, restaurant, snack bar..... unfortunately nothing. Store (quite expensive) at the next campsite a good 500 m walk away, there is also a great fruit and vegetable stall by the roadside! Restaurant is "around the corner" from the camp, but nothing special, average food, not bad, but unfortunately expensive. Nevertheless - this place gets a clear recommendation and we will certainly come here again several times.

"Beautiful, quiet, modern campsite, 100 m from the sea - We really enjoyed the site with our children. It was nice and quiet, especially at night, and we had a sea view on our pitch and also good privacy due to the hedge boundary. The location on the rocky coast is very good, you can snorkel, swim and SUP. You can get to the water anywhere. Shopping facilities are a bit far away, but no problem by bike. Sanitary was constantly cleaned and was very pleasant. also practical the outdoor showers to desalinate after swimming. We really enjoyed using the dishwasher with free coins. The place is something for those seeking peace and quiet, for whom animation and constant noise are a horror.

Profile

The Campsite Lighthouse is located just a few steps from the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic sea, between two small fishing villages, Savudrija and Bašanija nearby the City of Umag. The camp location has been well known for years between …auto-campers for its beauty and natural surroundings. Our camp is situated only around 50 meters from the sea and the beaches, while from our pitches you can see spectacular views of the sea, and on clear, sunny days on the horizon Italy shows up, with the city of Grado and the Alps. The camp has 32 pitches which are equipped with power and water connections. The sanitary facility consists of two male and two female toilets with just as many shower cubicles and outdoor showers. The camp is opened all year round, therefore in winter the sanitary facilities and showers are heated to provide our guests with complete comfort. The same facility has a laundry room and both indoor and external dishwashers. Beside the sanitary facility there is also an auto-camper cleaning service station with the emptying and filling machine. Peace, silence, the scent of the sea and pines makes this place ideal to relax you mind and body. We are looking forward your arrival. Yours, Lighthouse!
