Stay at the campground
I wanted to once again express my sincere thanks for the support we received from Mathias and Beate. Here, humanity and a willingness to help are still a reality. We’ll definitely be back—and this time without any mishaps.

Advantages
From the reservation, to the welcome, the care on the pitch to the departure, the Dünser family lives camping!
Negatives
There were no disadvantages!
A wonderful family-run campsite
On request, I was also informed of our pitch in advance, it was pitch E02. A short power cable is sufficient here. After the welcome, we were accompanied to the pitch and even helped to set up and align our caravan! There was also a welcome drink - arrive, feel at home! We have never experienced an arrival... like this before!

The pitch is spotlessly clean and has very good facilities. Fresh water, waste water and electricity are right on the pitch and the Wi-Fi works perfectly.

The great service building is just as clean and the owner family takes care of the cleanliness themselves. Sufficient showers and toilets, plenty of washbasins and a huge washing and drying room, an information room with a fully automatic machine for delicious coffee, everything is there and everything is clean!

There is also a program for the children and it is also possible to watch TV together (Formula 1 / Tour de France / soccer).

A baker comes every morning, there is a self-service fridge with regional milk, cheese and sausage. Albhorn playing is demonstrated and, and, and...

With the guest card, local transport is free throughout Vorarlberg (to the first train station in Switzerland, Tyrol and Germany [Lindau]). So you can leave your car at home. It's also not far to the shops.

We were very happy with this camping experience and will be back in summer 2026!

Thank you dear Dünser family!

Vacation
We had a wonderful week in one of the two bungalows. It was very clean and we received a warm welcome straight away. It was quiet and had a lovely atmosphere. A beautiful view of the mountains all around. There was also a recreation area with table football, table tennis and a children's playground with a cable car!!! A highly recommended campsite!!! We would love to come back!

Camping in the most beautiful way
This is a campsite of the very highest quality!
It starts with the reception by the boss himself. A competent and friendly man who is on hand with advice (we got it) and action (we assume).
The pitches are very spacious, so there is plenty of privacy.
The sanitary facilities are modern and spotlessly clean.
A place you won't forget and you'll be happy to come back to.

Advantages
Spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities at all times of the day! Quiet location, only 5 minutes to public transport. Possibility to order or buy the most necessary food on site. Friendly, helpful operator couple. Information available for activities in the area or on the site.
Negatives
Small disadvantage: Internet works well to look things up, search, for calls via Skype this was often choppy, interrupted on the spot. At the main house the quality was ok.

Advantages
Beautiful location, large well-equipped pitches Spacious and very clean sanitary facilities, extremely helpful host family. With the support of Matthias and his son, the caravan is expertly parked and even leveled with a spirit level (super service). The entire site is very well maintained. Dog-friendly (separate pitch area for campers with dogs) Bread rolls and regional products can be purchased fresh daily.
Negatives
In my opinion, there are no disadvantages to mention.
A beautiful, very well-maintained campsite
It was our first time at Camping Sonnenberg in Nüziders and we were simply thrilled (see advantages). Everything was perfect for us and it's not easy to find such committed and friendly hosts.
We will definitely be back and can only recommend this campsite.

Negatives

Top panoramic camping location, a real hit!
There is hardly anything to complain about.
Cycling and hiking tours possible from the campsite.
Excursions to Kloster-, Brandnertal, Montafon, Bregenz or Lindau are also possible without a car thanks to the very good bus and train connections. To the bus stop approx. 5-7 min, from here approx. 10 min... to Bludenz main station.
Restaurants and cafés can be found within a radius of 0.5-3 km.
Extra parking spaces for dog owners.
From our point of view a very well organized, recommendable place.
A return visit is a must.

A beautiful place to relax
It's as I've already described several times. Great for relaxation. Very quiet. Everything is clean! The operator couple is always present and very friendly and helpful.
You have a very nice view from the pitch. We also liked our pitch very much.
You can get to the nearest towns quickly from the site,... whether by bike or on foot. It's also a good starting point for cycling tours and hikes.
Bread roll service is excellent and the nearest supermarket is almost around the corner.
We also recommend the hotel restaurant Daneu, about 300m away. Great service and excellent quality food.

Advantages
The really quiet, relaxing location of the campsite. We don't need a ***** pitch, **** is more than enough for us.
Negatives
There were no disadvantages for our requirements.
Unfortunately only booked for 1 week
We didn't know the site, but were simply looking for a site near Bludenz. We had only booked on the basis of pictures and descriptions. As we realized on the day we arrived, we had made a big mistake; to our detriment. We should have come here a few days earlier. The most annoying problem is the mandatory... parking permit in Austria; either 10 days or 2 months. An interim solution of 30 days would be very advantageous. But now we know the place and will definitely come here again, health permitting. We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Dünser for the very friendly welcome, the choice of 3 pitches, although we had booked a fixed pitch, and the wonderful days on their pitch. The afternoon rain and thunderstorms were not your fault. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our days with you. We will see you again. Until then, best regards from the Westerwald. Burkhard and Brigitte.

Absolutely recommendable!!!
We were here with our two children and, although the weather was rainy, we were very satisfied. The Dünser family are very concerned about the well-being of their guests and make every effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable. The cleanliness of the site and the sanitary facilities are particularly... noteworthy. The location offers a lot and you don't have to travel long distances to experience a varied program.
Thank you very much! We would love to come back!

for us no
probably one of the most beautiful campsites in Austria
The campsite is beautifully situated in a small village (Nüziders) with a lovely view of the mountains.
The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times of the day.
The couple who run the site are very friendly and nice.
There are no shops directly on the site, but you can buy basic things at reception and there is a bread roll service.
All in all, highly recommended!

We were greeted directly at the barrier on arrival and accompanied to the pitch. The friendliness of the host family is really remarkable, you don't often find that.
The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities also deserves a mention. We felt very comfortable here - despite the mixed weather.
A clear recommendation 👍

Vacation with a mountain view
For the 2nd time we were on the Sonnenberg for a short vacation, quick response to the request, got the desired pitch, had long sunsets again, anytime and anywhere we felt very comfortable.
A campsite to our taste. Short distances to beautiful hikes. Free travel by train and bus. Always the net world in view.
