Advantages
The campsite is in a very nice location, the restaurant is quite good. The reception was very friendly.
Negatives
The power distributor is locked after connection. This means you need someone to unlock it when you leave. That didn't work at all. Despite assurances, no one came to unlock it. This cost us a lot of time on departure.
Nice location, poor service
The campsite is in a very nice location, the restaurant is quite good. The reception was very friendly. The electricity distributor is locked after connection. I.e. you need someone to unlock it on departure. This did not work at all. Despite assurances, no one came to unlock it. This cost a lot of time on departure.

Advantages
- Central location for hiking in the lower Tetra
Negatives
- Sanitary is from the 80's but in order
Camping with a view
Beautiful, dreamlike location in Demänovsksa Dolina. You can walk directly from the campsite to the nearby caves. Those who walk further can also walk to Chopok. However, most people will park a few kilometers further up directly at the lifts to hike from there to Chopok, Dumbier and Derese. The site... is mainly divided into two levels. The upper level is mostly used for tents. The lower, partially paved part of the site is mostly used for caravans and motorhomes. There are also plenty of sanitary facilities there. At the bottom of the entrance to the site is a very good restaurant, a small playground and the hotel, where you can also use the sauna for a fee. Fires may be lit on the site. There is a grocery store in the village. Conclusion: in a super scenic location and ideal for excursions to the Lower Tatras

Advantages
Quiet place, good sanitary facilities and kitchen, good Koliba Bystrina a few steps away
Super camp Nízke Tara-Liptovský Mikuláš
Pleasant campsite in a beautiful location with views of the surrounding countryside. The location is suitable for trips to the Low Tatras and Liptovský Mikuláš and its surroundings. As campers we appreciated especially the very quiet place. In terms of amenities, it is obvious that the owner has thought... about what campers need - good sanitary facilities (always clean, outdoor washroom, shower at no extra charge), drinking water in several places and kitchen (plenty of storage space, large sinks, two gas hobs).

Advantages
Nice, clean and quiet campsite with a large area.
Negatives
No disadvantages.
Super camp in Slovakia
In 2016 we were here with our family for the first time with the caravan, we were very satisfied with the staff, the environment with the kitchen. We recommend this campsite to 99% that 1% is for the bathroom facilities which are older but so remodeled and still clean. You can do awesome trips to the surrounding area both hiking or just walking + two caves. Close access to Liptovský Mikuláš to replenish supplies. :-D

Advantages
Location, good restaurant
Well-kept campsite with a hotel near the Demanova Caves
The pitch is part of a hotel complex and is also managed from the hotel reception. The pitch is slightly elevated above the hotel and a restaurant. The area is flat and without shade. If the site is really full with camper vans/caravans, it could be tight with power connections. The sanitary facilities... are large enough and in good condition, which is typical of the country. The cleanliness is also good. There is also a kitchen and washing machines. WiFi on the pitch. The restaurant offers good food at fair prices. The reception and service are friendly. The big advantage is the proximity to the Demanova Caves, which are well worth seeing. As there is only limited and expensive parking space available there, it is advisable to drive to the second (more beautiful!!!) cave in the morning, then drive back to the campsite and walk to the first cave.

also a nice place
The campsite is connected to a hotel complex. The staff are super friendly. There are also some mobile homes (bungalows). Everything is spread over several levels, the hotel complex is on the lowest level. There are also hidden camping sites in the forest. Wonderful view of the High Tatras. WLAN on the... pitch. Sanitary facilities are ok. The food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced for the region. There are good hiking opportunities uphill, also with mountain/cable cars. Express recommendation: stalactite cave a few kilometers uphill (Demänovska jaskyna slobody).

Advantages
Very quiet. Good view of the High Tatras. Not far from the highway access. Very clean. Good disposal and supply possibilities.
Negatives
No opportunities for strolling or shopping. Town(?) nearby is ugly.
Relax and recharge your batteries. Beautiful view.
A very beautiful and quiet campsite for motorhomes and tents. A good stopover for bikers. It is not far from there to the ski area (downhill run) or hiking area. By car about 20 minutes. Stalactite caves nearby very worth seeing. Supermarket nearby.

We stayed there in September and were the only people on the entire camping. It was a little scary because we were hearing animal roars for the whole night (there is a forrest around and the camping is not fenced). But generally the camping was fine.

Dear Patrycja, thank you for your comment. Yes, the camping is not fenced as it has area about 5 ha and it is placed in the middle of the national park. There are animals living in the park, so one should expect to hear them or even meet them. Three or four years ago, our guests had even counted 5 bears... at one nihgt, that were passing through the camping. But nothing happened to the bears and to the guests neither:)
Since then, there has been no bear or other animal reported at the camping. So I hope we will see you next time.
