Totally quiet, 1hr from Golway, 40 mins from Sligo. Dave's workshop if you need it.

Quiet, very well-kept, in the middle of nature
We were there with the WW and 2 children (7, 9), the place is very well maintained with lots of space, but there is no playground, but meadows without end. You can find peace and quiet here. How to find the site: The instructions on the homepage are correct, drive into the road (dirt road), the entrance... is an iron gate, it says "please close the gate", nothing else is written on it - but Dave and Lin are totally nice and courteous. There weren't many guests in July - we were almost the only ones. The sanitary facilities are rather old, but in good condition - everything works, there are hooks, soap, toilet paper, showers without coins. Washing machine rather expensive 7€, no tumble dryer. The highlight: after putting up and taking down the awning about 30 times, we managed to break a tent pole, which Dave mended in his workshop. Otherwise we wouldn't have been spared a trip to the locksmith. We stayed there for four nights and used the site as a base for excursions to Golway and Sligo. The pitches are level and split for the WW, perfect grass for the awning, there's plenty of electricity, water only at 2 pillars in the middle of the site. Everything looks just like on the homepage.
