Quietly located campsite near Paignton
The site can be reached via a narrow (normal for England) access road. There is nothing missing on the site: pool, store, café, pub... Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are getting on in years and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The pitches are generously laid out on grass and parceled... out. Paignton and Torquay are easily reached by car in 5 and 15km respectively. Bicycles are less suitable due to the high volume of traffic. We spent very nice days at Whitehill Country Park!

Rural camping site. A good starting point!
Beautiful, well-kept, clean site in the hinterland close to the coast. Nice walk from the site to Stoke Gabriel. Otherwise good starting point to explore the surrounding area by car. self-service store with everything you need available (no bread rolls in the morning! ??). Restaurant and pool available (not used). The English Riviera was a bit "too mutch" for us - otherwise a recommendable place
