"Above average price with mediocre equipment. - The price of SEK 800 for a gravel pitch where the water stands when it rains is simply too high. Unfortunately, the service house in our area did not convince us. There has been a container with 3 showers and toilets here for some time. Washing dishes is not possible here at all. For us, washing up in the camper van was the order of the day. In summary, it can be said that this campsite can charge a maximum of SEK 300 for this pitch. Every cheap pitch has better service. We will not be booking here again.

"Strömstad - This is generally a nice site close to the city. The staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are extremely clean and modern. We had pitch no. 325 and the photos showing grass pitches are outdated. All pitches are asphalted and paved. The ground surface heats up enormously in the sunshine and the temperatures. This type of campsite is not suitable for us, but everyone has to decide for themselves. Strömstad is very easy to reach on foot. The site is very quiet, even though it is on the main road.

"Campsite near the city and close to the ferry to Norway - A beautifully laid out site (terraced) with a good service building. Friendly reception. Guests staying on the higher levels have a difficult walk to the service building, reception and exit. The town is within walking distance (approx. 900m). The number of showers is sufficient, but there are only 2 enclosed cubicles. The separation with a curtain is no longer up to date. The disposal for caravans + motorhomes is on the access road to the upper levels. There can quickly come to traffic jams when 2 caravans dispose of. The site is mainly used by Norwegians who want to shop in Strömstad. WLAN free of charge.

"Vacation in Strömstad - The campsite is by the sea and about 10 minutes from Strömstad. Nice little town with harbor. The campsite is also beautifully situated between Oslo and Gothenburg.

"Camping - We stayed at this site for one night. A very nice place, apparently newly renovated, clean sanitary facilities, with a mini store and friendly staff. A 15-20 minute walk to the small town, which is very romantic. A place to recommend, was one of the nicest on our trip to Sweden.

"Any time again - Very well-kept site with friendly staff and very good sanitary facilities (separated by gender). The pitches are mostly terraced, on hard gravel or asphalt with adjoining lawn. Renovated in 2013, free choice of pitch, conspicuously flat pitches and closely positioned electricity distributors. Very quiet for a campsite close to the city, provided you are not down by the road. Driving is prohibited on the site between 23:00 and 8:00 The reception includes a well-stocked mini store. There is also an ICA Kvantum supermarket 1.2 km away. A gas station (without service) is 200m away and the city center of Strömstad can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. We always use the site for overnight stays on the way north. (Distance to the highway = 6km) Unfortunately, the beautiful view of the sea can only be enjoyed from 3-4 pitches. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Mid-July 2016: The site was extended and the pitches numbered. Free choice of pitch is now limited. The reception will be happy to consider requests, otherwise a few pitches will be suggested for selection. This procedure reduces the traffic on the site to a minimum, which is very pleasant, especially now in the high season. WLAN is free and showers are now also included in the price of 400SEK (high season/WoMo/WoWa with electricity). Otherwise, everything is as clean and tidy as ever.
