Beautiful place on the river
We stayed at this campsite for three nights in July 2015. When we arrived, reception was closed but the manager came and gave us a pitch. It was a so-called hardstanding pitch (slate) with water connection for 24 GBP per night, which was beautifully situated. However, we had no satellite reception due... to the trees. The grass pitches are also nice and cheaper. The washing up sinks are outside but covered. They have really hot water, which was unfortunately not the case on the previous campsite, and are clean. The showers are also clean. The washbasins are not separated and unfortunately everything sometimes "floats" on the shelves. The bistro looks very inviting, but only offers snacks. We didn't use it; it closes at 5pm. We would have liked to have a beer there in the evening.
