No place to feel good
We were there to visit relatives - we were supposed to stay for a few days. Unfortunately, we fell ill and had to stay. The site is the old swimming pool area, which has been redesigned in an interesting way. The pool is now a lively biotope - neither suitable nor permitted for people.
The campsite is... quite quiet at night despite being relatively close to the town, but it is a dead place that wants everything and does nothing right. From hotel to holiday apartment and campsite to restaurant and bar with boat hire.
The site is still being expanded. Due to the spaciousness, the construction machines don't disturb so much during the day.
The worst thing is the access road, which is best negotiated with a camper van at only 5 km/h - these are the rough, round "cobbled" stone paths that are not uncommon on old GDR roads.
The only access road is a real CP caravan killer. It's not the site's fault, but it's a major drawback for me.
We will avoid the site.
