Sanitary bottlenecks, expandable infrastructure.
Lots of room for improvement. The price is ok with ACSI
We spent a week here (€18.72/day with ACSI). The site is right on the water, but the beach is relatively small and hardly available at high tide. There is a cycle path right past the beach and you can quickly get to Pornic (tourist shopping), for example. The area is rather rural, to see something interesting... you have to drive to St. Nazaire (submarine bunker, Escal'Atlantic), Nantes or the Ile de Noirmoutier (Passage du Gois). About the site itself: The sanitary facilities are quite modern and clean inside, but the outside could definitely do with a makeover. During our stay, there were also around 30 pupils aged around 12-14 on the site for 3 nights, which put a lot of strain on the sanitary facilities and the scullery. The 4 or 5 washbasins and 3 single cubicles were far too few - young ladies apparently need a lot of time for beauty care several times a day. At the weekend, the site was also very busy with a group of friends from a motorhome. The sanitary bottleneck was also evident here. Although the many trees on the site provide shade, they offer themselves as thunderbolts to birds with regulated digestion. We would have been glad of a plastic garage for the car. "Our" tree was in the middle of the pitch. The ground is mostly flat, the slots are large enough, but not too large. The driveway to/from our pitch was only manageable with a mover due to inconveniently placed water points and lighting. Bread can be ordered (until 5.30 pm), pick-up only from 9.30 am the next morning, so not for early risers. We found the friendliness of the reception ladies to be a little limited. We did not use the bar. The place is still in the construction phase, the boss (friendly) is working intensively on it. The indoor pool was always accessible and ok.

Directly on the water, only a small wall in between. Excellent view, sandy beach and very clean sanitary facilities.

Very short and poor reception. Reception very difficult to find.
Not bad, right on the water
Excellent location, right on the water. There is also a swimming pool and very clean sanitary facilities. We loved the peace and quiet (except for the waves, of course).
