In August, we wanted to stay at the "Country Park Crecy La Chapelle" campsite for six days to celebrate the Olympic Games in Paris. We had discovered the site via the ACSI camping guide. It is rated there with three stars. We had already paid the accommodation costs in advance. The amount for six nights... was €634. So we had cashed in big time.

On arrival, we were allocated a pitch that was unacceptable for us and out of all proportion to the amount we had paid. It had rained a few days earlier and our pitch was only half paved. So we had to decide whether to put the motorhome in the mud or sit down to eat in the mud. Incidentally, we were worried that we would get stuck with the motorhome if it rained again.

We had also visited the toilets. Apart from the lack of cleanliness: There was no running water at the time, so the toilets didn't flush, you couldn't wash your hands and some people were standing at the public sinks waiting in vain for water.

We decided to leave the site immediately due to the poor space and hygiene conditions.

The staff at reception then assured us that we would get a full refund. We would at least be contacted by telephone. The lady had made a note of my IBAN and promised to sort the matter out with the manager.

In the meantime, we have written countless emails. There is simply no communication. The operator just sits it out. Since I recently started a fake request with a different email address, I know that people can communicate when it comes to business.

Not recommended if you want to have a nice vacation!

they seem to be renovating the site but still have a long way to go
the sanitation is plain dirty added to the fact that it is old makes it a place to avoid if possible

Pool, near Disneyland
Top campsite near Disneyland
Only about 15 km from Disneyland. Very well maintained, good sanitary facilities. Very friendly staff. Playground has been renovated. Pool available.
