Facilities were in very good condition used a key card to enter for everything. Definitely would recommend having bikes everything is biking distance, 3min bike ride to inflatable blow up obstacles and wake boarding. forest around and the lake. Would revisit again after this experience in a caravan.

Had to leave at short notice after I had only parked on the forecourt for 12 hours and the groundsman was "kind" enough not to let me pay the late departure fee.
No concession from my point of view, even though I've been to the site quite often and wanted to book it for several weeks during my summer vacation.

We walked around the lake with the dog in the morning and then got on our bikes. Bremen is easy to reach and Fischerhude is nice to look at. The Puppencafe is worth a visit. We liked the campsite, but it was noisy day and night due to the highway not... far from the campsite and the Bremen airport flight path. Not very loud, but always a certain noise level. Apart from a bistro outside the site, which is set up for bathers at the lake, there are no restaurants or shops nearby. The only positive aspect is the sanitary facilities.... However, these do not justify the relatively high price per night. !! No direct access from the pitch to the lake with dog and sup. !! ** Without being regulated and being pointed to signs that dogs are forbidden "No dog beach" ..who can read ..and I don't just go into your apartment and so on....
For the fact that it is a three... man operation what I could perceive the operators make the best of what is available to them and are very friendly! Unfortunately there is no fridge where you as a camper have the possibility to store something to eat and you have to rely on your car to get at least a small breakfast from the bakery. The barriers are closed from 22.00 which made me feel uncomfortable... because as a dog owner I always have to assume that something can happen to our dog and I have to go out at night to drive to the veterinary clinic where every minute counts because there are only 2 and they are not around the corner!!!
I find the place small but nice... it's great that you can choose the pitches and especially that there are garbage cans with poop bags everywhere. Too bad that there is no hose at the dog showers which would make the dog showers easier because it is only cold water !!! The sanitary buildings are newly clean and even all equipped with fly screens. We were allowed to have a look at the site beforehand and then decide which pitch we wanted. We were able to access the sanitary facilities with a chip card. Luckily we had an e-scooter with us, otherwise we would have had to walk a long way. We were bothered by the A1 highway... right next door.
