A small heaven that is waiting for you to relax and enjoy the nature and the atmosphere there. Unbelievable tasty dishes on the restaurant and friendly vibes all the time. We loved it.

- Norbert M.Σεπτέμβριος 2010I have been going to this campsite for 29 years now (I was there for the first time when it opened in 1981) and can recommend it without reservation. It is suitable for youth groups (I have seen how the management organizes this several times) as well as for children from birth to over 18 years. We brought... our children to the campsite for the first time when they were 6 months old and they still go there on vacation now (at the age of 20). I have found both peace and quiet (interrupted only by the creaking of the cicadas) and evening life there. Of course, as a German living abroad, I don't expect the German rest periods to be observed and can live with guests partying into the night. The next day I can sleep as long as I want. The beach is sandy but interspersed with medium-sized pebbles. At the campsite, the stones are removed with tractors in spring. The sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach are free to use. The food in the restaurant tastes really good (typical Cretan cuisine) and is also reasonably priced. Personally, I like the food best at the "Babis" restaurant about 300 meters further along the beach towards Kastelli. Anna is the chef there, she was the boss of the restaurant on the campsite at the very beginning. There are many leisure activities from hiking, cycling, swimming, visiting the water park in Chania etc. etc. Of course, you have to be able to get yourself up for an activity even without an entertainer. I can get into the rhythm of life of the Cretans very well and have internalized it over the years in such a way that I feel at home in western Crete (unfortunately only emotionally so far) I still have to work in Germany.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
