Fly corpses in every corner. The water in the shower was lukewarm, despite inserting the shower tokens. I had rented a Wood Lodge for a weekend. Here, too, it was clear that the cleaning was half-hearted or not... done at all. The ground was full of sand and dry grass. I was greeted by a tablespoon on the floor right at the entrance. So it was definitely not cleaned or at least checked. A positive point to emphasize is that there are really many sanitary facilities, the distances are short! Very nice welcome at reception! Always tiptop clean! You have wonderful peace and quiet and can enjoy the beautiful nature on site and in the surrounding area and do a lot by bike or take a lake trip! Hopefully a new tenant can be found for the small restaurant, so that you could also eat a snack on site, currently it was converted into a cozy lounge! There are several sanitary facilities at the Ruhleben campsite, which are always top clean and well equipped. The site is centrally located for great cycling tours. Hiking is also great, the hiking/forest area is right... next to the campsite.
The staff at reception are super friendly and helpful.
I give it a very clear recommendation and there is nothing to complain about.

I'll describe them like this, everything was just too small, the toilet was so far down that you could only sit down by holding on to it, the toilet and also the washbasins... were at knee height, almost like in kindergarten.
The shower was too narrow, no extractor and to top it all off the coin slot for hot water.
I would rather not say anything about the permanent campers at the lake (they are probably the rulers of the lake)

It was just great, the weather was ideal. The site offers large pitches. The sanitary blocks are up to date and very clean. But above all the friendliness at reception, thank you. The lake location is perfect for kayaking, good connections to hiking and cycling trails.

Very clean sanitary facilities. You can buy bread rolls and a small range of essentials in the camping store. There is even a dog shower. Price/performance is top. We will definitely be back.
