Perfect location in the lower Allgäu - Memmingen, Kempten, Leutkirch, Isny, Kaufbeuren and other towns are within easy reach.ΑρνητικάNo complaintsReally great campsite - even with a dogWe felt wonderfully looked after from the very first moment.
The pitches are generously sized, even for large caravans and motorhomes. Electricity (CEE, price per kWh) and water taps are right next to or just a few meters away from each pitch.
In the central house are the registration, completely new... sanitary facilities, a "laundry room" with 4 sinks, 2 washing machines and a 2-plate stove. There is also a chemical toilet and a dog shower at the other end of the building.
There is a large fridge with cold drinks (mainly beer) in the registration room. There is also a bread roll service for various baked goods - order in the evening and pick up the next morning. The prices are very moderate.
The site is not limited by a barrier, but a gate that you open and close yourself.
There are the usual rest periods, but you can still enter and exit at any time.
All in all, this is a highly recommended site.
The lack of restaurants is made up for by the fact that Ottobeuren is only 20 minutes away (on foot) or just under 10 minutes (by bike) or, of course, a few minutes by car, motorcycle or scooter. There are several restaurants and cafés there.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

A hike through the spa gardens and the Bannwald forest, especially along the Motza stream (German Levada) is also recommended. There are plenty of cycling and hiking trails, as well as sightseeing opportunities in the towns. The campsite operators are very friendly. The sanitary facilities are modern and very clean. There is a bread roll service as well as drinks and food.ΑρνητικάThe pitches are mostly sloping, nothing works without wedge(s). Nevertheless in the middle of nature, very quiet.ΑρνητικάNone.Highly recommended!We spent a week at this very pleasant campsite. The plus points for us were: the proximity to Ottobeuren (20 minutes on foot), very good hiking and cycling routes from the site, the cleanliness of the entire site, extremely friendly operator couple, the nature experience.
The site is very suitable for... dog owners, great walks right next to the site.
Bread roll service is offered, and drinks, yogurt and milk from organic farmers and ice cream can also be purchased. If my journey of approx. 1000 km wasn't so far, I would come here regularly for a camper meeting.
One thing is certain, if I travel to the region again, I will definitely stay here overnight. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars die ons wisten te overtuigen van het hebben van een juiste plaats voor ons. Aan de rand is een heerlijke grasstrook, lekker dik gras, waarop een tent geplaatst kan worden. We hebben... een mooi plaatsje gevonden in de hoek met uitzicht over de vallei. Sanitair en voorzieningen zijn uitstekend. We reizen met 2 motoren en een kleine tent.

If you want, you can meet up with other guests or the owners for a beer or coffee under the canopied terrace with a... great view of the basilica. The well thought-out, CO2-free energy supply is the icing on the cake. All around you can cycle, hike, explore historic towns and eat well.

Great location; good value for money.ΑρνητικάIn our opinion, the only disadvantage is the sloping pitch. Some pitches hang in two directions. Aligning our folding caravan therefore involved a lot of effort.A really great placeWhy go far away when good things are so close? For us, the place is ideal for a long weekend with a journey of around 70 km. Once you arrive in Ottobeuren, you can switch off straight away. Ottobeuren and the surrounding area offer plenty of opportunities to let off steam on a bike or mountain bike or... do a few laps in the outdoor pool. But Ottobeuren and the surrounding area are perfect for simply relaxing and switching off.
