"Great insider tip for an unhyped place !!! - Here you will find a loosely occupied space without feeling overcrowded. The site does not seem to be well known in Germany. Apart from a few exceptions, it was occupied by Dutch people. It is extremely child-friendly here - children's bathrooms, entertainment with lots of fun and motivation from the team, welcome pack for children. We used the small wash house, where unfortunately the layout is a little ill-considered. The shower and washing area is at the back, no soap. In the front area are the toilets and directly in front of them you wash up and there is also the soap. We didn't wash up there. Everyone who comes out of the toilet washes their hands in the sink. The pitches all have a direct water and electricity connection. The site is surrounded by beautiful nature. And the pitches are very large, which surprised us. Hot water is available via a card, the units are very generous, we didn't run out of any of our cards during our stay. After the rain, any puddles were immediately cleared and filled with sand. No potholes. There is a small swimming pool, unfortunately it was always foggy as the ventilation is apparently poor. You get in and everything is damp. Unfortunately most of the lockers cannot be used because they are broken. There is a sauna and a whirlpool, the costs are unknown. You can load credit onto your card. This works in the wash house, but you don't know how much you should load onto it because there are no prices. The whirlpool was out of order the whole time. We felt very comfortable here, especially because of the location in the countryside and the plants. However, tent guests who need an oven or want to cook are not advised, as we did not see any such facilities. There is also no lounge, except in the restaurant.

"Great located campsite, modern - It was our first time in Holland. We chose the campsite because it is centrally located to several excursion destinations and the border. Everything is about an hour away. The pitches are all very large and have water and electricity connections directly on site. We were given a warm welcome and accompanied to the site. Lots of nature and everything within easy walking distance. We didn't really like the layout of the smaller wash house at the back. The toilets were right next to the dishwashing areas. Therefore, everyone washed their hands at the sink after using the toilet. The other washbasins were in the next room by the showers. However, there was no soap there. There were also no facilities to dry your hands. However, the wash house was cleaned several times a day! It is modern and in good condition. Hot water is only available with a payment card. The snack bar has its price, we liked it after there was confusion when ordering and we had to wait a long time. As an apology we got a scoop of ice cream for free. There are no cooking facilities such as a stove or oven. We really liked the seats. They were very spacious and level. There was also plenty of room for the car in front of the tent. We were greeted and bid farewell with gifts for the children and lots of information (unfortunately in Dutch) and a bag. The bread rolls were easy to order and were even delivered to the campsite for a small extra charge. The swimming pool was included and there were many other things to do on site.

"Insider tip Norgerberg - We were there with 2 children (4 and 10) and our Havanese. The first few days we were pretty much on our own, but from Good Friday it started to get busier. We had great days from start to finish and were able to enjoy everything to the full. The sanitary buildings were always clean but a bit cool and with a map, which was far from being used to the full. Playgrounds available, sometimes a little small. The swimming pool was surprisingly warm for the time of year and initially for us alone ☺️. The food was well taken care of, we would have liked to try the restaurant, but we couldn't get a seat on Easter Saturday. But it always looked well attended, which speaks for itself. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or cycling and you can go shopping by bus or train to Groningen. For campers, there is a huge camping market in Roden (formerly Vreijbeuter). All in all, it was a perfect week and probably still an insider tip in Germany.

"Top condition - There is virtually nothing to complain about on the site. There are two small supermarkets in Norg about 1.5 km from the site - perfectly adequate. Good cycle path network, very friendly staff - all good.

"The Norgerberg feeling - We stayed at this wonderful campsite over Easter. After registering, we were accompanied to the site by very friendly staff and an awning carpet was provided for the duration of our stay. The family-run campsite is in a very quiet location. It is in the middle of the forest, within walking distance of the small village of Norg with its grocery store and very tasty fish stall, and has very large, level pitches. The sanitary facilities are beautifully designed and very clean. A whirlpool can be used for a fee of €2, and there is also a private sauna to rent for €10 per hour. There are also great pitches with new private sanitary facilities and an outdoor kitchen. There are also several playgrounds, a convertible swimming pool with salt water, a snack bar and a restaurant. There is children's entertainment during the vacations. I therefore recommend the campsite especially for families, dog lovers and senior citizens. The host family is very friendly and very personal. You can tell that they enjoy their job, their people and their love of dogs. We felt very comfortable here and would like to thank the whole team at "De Norgerberg". We will definitely be back.

"Very nice campsite in the Netherlands - Great vacation to relax and unwind. The staff were very friendly and the snack bar and restaurant also had good food and nice staff. The sanitary facilities were really nice with a real tree in the middle. Everything was always clean and the sauna was a particular highlight. We also thought about our four-legged friends, as there were leashes everywhere. There was a fitness forest opposite the site and the town was also within walking distance. The swimming pool in the village was included in the price and had a slide, a counter-current system and a whirlpool. Great starting point for excursions in the great region. We would love to come back.
