June 2017 update: it has been a 'Municipal' campsite again since 2017. Not too large campsite in forest area with pitches mostly (semi-)shaded. Size of pitches approx. 80-90m2, with electricity (10A) and water connection. Nice partly open sanitary building with all facilities (including indvidual washing... cabins). Clean sanitary facilities in more than sufficient size and quality. On the grounds are some small-scale play facilities for the smaller youth. WiFi is (partly) free; there is good reception on the pitches since 2017. Outside the campground, some RV sites with associated facilities are located. The campsite is ideal for, either a visit to Tours (about 10km.), or overnight stay on transit or for continuation of the cycle route along the Loire. The campground is located in the center of Vouvray, a short distance from the Loire on a tributary of it, 'La Cisse'. The autoroute A-10 (l'Aquitaine) is also close by. Some, otherwise not too disturbing, ambient noise from the nearby road D 952/center Vouvray is perceptible.
