Familiar, quiet and surrounded by greenery
You couldn't get a warmer welcome: Trades in green Burgundy
A very small campsite in green Burgundy with few pitches, no permanent campers, located on a small fishing pond. Chantal, who looks after the campsite, is very nice and gives great insider tips for the region. Every morning she brought me fresh artisan baguettes from a small bakery in the neighboring... village (I was there in the low season, I don't know if she offers them in the high season). Right next to the campsite is a good restaurant with a good lunch menu. Charolais cattle graze everywhere on the hedge-lined pastures in the surrounding area and you feel like you're in another world. Ideal for hiking and cycling.
