Enough space, quiet, close to the lake (unfortunately too little water) and close to the mountains, Embrun is very nice, the place is cheap. However, the sanitary facilities are old but clean. Owner very nice and helpful. Fresh bread for breakfast is available nearby. There are several supermarkets 5 minutes away by car.

When the place is full, the showers are likely to be scarce. There are the Grand Sanitaires and the Petit, where there is only a toilet and washbasin:
Quiet campsite
We would love to come back. The location is really great for hiking, cycling, swimming or water sports - as long as the lake has enough water.

Pure camping
We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 tents and 4 motorcycles. The campsite is in a great location for a simple site and the facilities are perfectly adequate - typically French. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. The nearest supermarket is at the beginning of the lake and can be reached in 5 minutes. Everything you need is there and in a fantastically beautiful setting.
