Only cold showers in the low season.
Very idyllic with a somewhat adventurous approach

The site is in a very idyllic location about 25km outside Riga.
We were the only ones on the site in June. As it is still low season, all showers were still with cold water. However, the manager gave us the key to the family bathroom, which actually costs extra,... free of charge. It had hot water there.
The kitchen is very nice. Spacious and well equipped. Space to sit.

The approach is a bit adventurous. The last 2 km are on gravel, no problem. But the 7 km before that are on the edge of a military training area. The road consists of patches and holes.

Two nights all in cost 37€. German is spoken in broken form. Very nice operators.

Very remote but good
Site is very remote but well equipped and friendly staff. Very suitable for groups. Well-equipped kitchen with hotplates, fridge and kettle. Canoe and bike hire available. Small kiosk (drinks)

A good place to relax and explore Latvia. Not far distance to Riga and other places of interest to visit.

Military training area nearby. Only becomes clear at second glance.
Very ambivalent!
The operators are very helpful and super friendly! However, the site is a bit out of the way - 8 km to Adazi. A day trip to Riga is possible, but exhausting. (1 hour). Beautiful and spacious rooms for guests on rainy days. Every now and then loud practice shots from the nearby military training area.... Very different sanitary facilities. Women okay, but men in the basement: oh dear! During our days there, a children's camp was held on the site by a military outfitter from Riga. Strange!

Sehr gut
We were there in July with our caravan and had a tour of Riga and the surrounding area. The schöne, ruhige und topp gepflegte Platz liegt nahe beim Fluss Gauja. Vielfältige Freizeitaktivitäten werden angeboten. The sanitary installations are großzügig und sauber. The service is very free. We can use the beach very easily.

Zeer moeilijk te vinden, ook met de coördinaten van de GPS. In het naseizoen niemand op de receptie, ook niet s'-nachts. slechte wifi verbinding.

We really liked this camping, it is new and very nice, in quiet environment. There are enough showers and toilets. The kitchen is very well equiped.
