People here know the small campsite in Corconne well: ‘a gem’; ‘one of the best bathing spots!’ A happy little corner in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, a beautiful place that brings a smile to your face: the …water in the river is clear, the shade of the trees is cool and inviting for a nap. A place to meet, for music evenings, theatre or evening games. Whether you are planning a romantic weekend, a sporting holiday, a reunion with friends or a family celebration, come and enjoy the atmosphere of Camping de Corconne! When driving to the campsite, please bear in mind that the narrow 2.5-metre bridge and steep slope make access extremely difficult for motorhomes and caravans longer than 6.5 metres. However, once you have arrived on the premises, you can enjoy the cosy and uncomplicated atmosphere. You can find your ideal spot in the sun, by the river or in the shade of the trees: our campsite is a poetic place or a large space for your family, a place that is suitable for your small caravan or an intimate place at the edge of the forest. It will charm you with the variety of its locations and its natural spirit. 33 pitches are spread out between natural boundaries that provide plenty of shade. The campers are spread out in the forest and along the river, where they can hear the sound of the water in the background. There is more than enough space and privacy. If you prefer the comfort of accommodation, you can choose from 6 wooden chalets or fall in love with the romantic cottage. All have their own garden and are located in the shade of trees of different species. It is lovely to enjoy a meal in the style of a ‘guinguette’ at the restaurant ‘La Tonnelle’, where Nicolas cooks with the seasons and gives pride of place to local products and small homemade dishes. You can also play a game of pétanque, take a dip in the river or take a nap in a hammock. But there are also moments of relaxation, birdsong and a touch of music.
