Right next to a nuclear power plant.
Good easy place
The place is ok for a short stay. We wouldn't want to stay here for a longer vacation. Medical center and facilities are clean, which is not always the case.
The reception was friendly. The surroundings are nicer than initially thought.

Site with many permanent campers. Friendly reception and easy check-in. The outside area is well maintained, lawn mowed etc. The pitch was ok, with water/waste water connection and electricity. The sanitary facilities are partly renovated, but still old, but basically clean. An unsightly and disturbing... sight the urinal directly at the entrance to the Sanit. Building without any demarcation / partition wall. From the campsite footpath directly to the beach, at low tide about 20 minutes to the water. At our time there was no noise nuisance from music etc., but we can imagine that there is a lot going on in the HS.

Moderately equipped CP right next to the nuclear power station, on the outskirts and right on the beach. At low tide, however, approx. 2 km to the water! Very (!) different sanitary facilities, friendly staff. Store with the essentials and snack bar available, in the season in the evening nice and loud... open-air disco for young and old. Public facilities (on the canal, harbor, ...) very well maintained. Many bunkers to visit in the surrounding area. German is NOT spoken here and in the surrounding area, but mostly English - the descriptions of places of interest are often multilingual (up to Polish and Russian) but hardly ever in German!

We have stayed at this campground several times for several days, and have always been very satisfied. The people who work there do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and it is a good base to explore the region. The campground is located in the dunes, so close to the sea.

For an overnight stay on the way to England (we took the ferry) great and functional! The nearby beach is also okay. Store and snack bar okay. Overall, the place makes an unkempt impression. Wash house with "sitting toilets" but without "glasses". Otherwise simply "functional" but not inviting. The disco... with the young people is creepy. The nearby nuclear power plant with 4 reactors can be seen from the beach and doesn't make you feel good. We would not stay longer than one night if we were passing through. But we would come back for this!
