You have to walk approx. 500 m further outside to swim.Fantastic campsite for water sports enthusiastsBeautifully situated campsite. Pitches mostly separated by hedges. Partly shaded. The restaurant is only open from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime in the low season. We were there from Aug. 28 to Sept. 4, 2018. You drive quite steeply downhill to the site. One road but easy to drive on. A dead end road so no through traffic. Shopping by bike is a very sporty affair. But if you forget,... the restaurant offers hungry people good food. There is a pool right next to the restaurant for young and old swimmers who don't dare to swim in the lake. The lake has a very stony beach - which didn't put us off.
The sanitary facilities, on the other hand, did. They are simply getting on in years and need renewing. Holes in the partitions and cleanliness is not the place's thing. But perhaps things have already changed - hope dies last.
A beautiful large sunbathing lawn in front of the lake, what more could you want..... We felt at home and would love to come back. We got by fine with English .....
