"Far too expensive for cheap condition in 1975 - Taking so much money for such an outdated campsite is really cheeky. Although the sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, this does not change the old condition. The campsite operator also offers a mini campsite, but for over €40 a night that is extortionate!!! That's why we camped on the caravan site for over €30 per night. Some prices are missing from the farm store, which suggests that different prices could be charged! Conclusion: book somewhere else, we won't be back!

"Catastrophic condition - Owner unfriendly. Pitch rent of 21 euros per night too expensive for a motorhome. Available showers only work sparsely. Toilets are without toilet seats and toilet paper is also not available. Soap and drying facilities for hands are not available

" - CP consists mainly of mobile homes, few motorhome pitches. No designated tent areas. Beach approx. 40 - 45 min. on foot, therefore bicycle or car recommended. Access to CP possible from 7 - 22h, on foot at any time. A limited number of parking spaces are available on the campsite. To get through a barrier from the parking lot to the mobile home or pitch with the vehicle, 1€ is charged (per entry or exit). Exceptions are the day pitches for mobile homes, which consist of a well-kept meadow with electricity connections but without hedges or other privacy protection. The parking direction is predetermined, i.e. there is little choice of where to park your camper van. Price at the beginning of August 2012 for a motorhome all day 15€ incl. 2 persons, electricity, access to sanitary facilities and water supply & chemical disposal. Only parking space from 17 - 10h costs 5€ (electricity +2,50). Sanitary facilities can only be entered & left via chip key (10€ deposit). Apart from the showers, no hooks for hanging up washing things, towels etc. Toilets all without glasses (!). Cleanliness average, depending on the time of day. Shower cubicles large but in need of renovation; if two or more people shower, the water temperature varies from cold to very hot. I tested two out of five shower cubicles, one with a shower head in need of repair, the other with a leaking water pipe so hardly any shower effect. The playground has 3 huge trampolines next to each other, which are great fun for the kids, but otherwise a bit lacking. Separate sandpit from the playground with coarse-grained sand; dog owners should be careful not to confuse it with a generously laid out dog relief area, as it looks more like one. No seating for parents at the sandpit to supervise the kids. Towards evening, a "chip shop" opens on the campsite grounds, not without a price but with some choice, whereby everything is mercilessly deep-fried. If you dare... Personally, I can only recommend the fritjes, which were served with a large portion of mayo in an extra compartment. Cheap ice cream varieties often sold out, can of Amstel beer 0.5l 2.50€. Small bakery from 8.30 in the morning (bread rolls €0.55). The small village of Groede is very easy to reach on foot from the campsite (<5 min) and offers a few nice pubs in tranquil alleyways as well as a pretty church square and a small mini village store but no ATM. Tip: Withdraw money at the small petrol station; unlike the bank in Breskens, I didn't have to pay any fees. Conclusion: CP with the flair of an allotment site, more suitable for mobile home users, very quiet and without special facilities. WoMo pitches without charm. Young people looking for peers are well advised to camp closer to the beach. However, those who want to cure their nerves away from the hustle and bustle will at least find peace and quiet here.
