Beautiful site with tent meadow directly in the outdoor pool area
I spent a night on the spacious tent meadow in the outdoor pool area on my bike tour to Franconian Switzerland at the beginning of September 24. The site is spacious and beautiful. There are even campfire sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I felt very welcome. A special thank you to... the friendly pool attendant, who helped me with a broken bike on the morning of my onward journey, so that I was able to continue my journey after a short delay.

Camping vacation 2024
A big praise to the nature campsite Schnaittenbach !!! We were guests as day campers in August 2024. We had a very nice time and felt really comfortable. The very nice staff, the well-kept facilities and the daily cleaned sanitary facilities should be emphasized! As the weather played along, we were able to enjoy the natural swimming pool extensively! Simple, small and therefore super
A small CP with a handful of touring pitches. The pitches are unparceled and only have electricity. However, the water supply is in the immediate vicinity (100m). The sanitary facilities are shared by the campers and the day visitors to the natural pool, but are nevertheless (or perhaps because of this?)... well maintained and clean. The natural pool is really beautiful and has its own children's pool (heated). There is also a small playground. There is a small restaurant on site, but it is not always open depending on when the pool is open. A bread roll service is available on site and is good. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our favorite place nearby. With an outdoor pool (natural pool, but no bathing lake!) that is supervised. The tent meadow is structurally separated from the campsite with the pitches by the outdoor pool. Fire pits in the campsite. We were with caravans and had good pitches, but they were on a bit of a... slope (bring wedges). The showers are brand new, but there is still some catching up to do on the rest. The bakery van always came between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. A really good value site. Discounts are also possible with camping cards. There are many possibilities in the surrounding area. The site is mainly occupied by permanent campers.
