You can also buy fresh eggs, pasta and game sausage from the vending machine, but unfortunately there is no bread roll service or restaurant. The site is conveniently located on the A7 and is therefore ideal for a stopover. We received a very friendly welcome and everything went very smoothly. The pitches are spacious and the site and sanitary facilities are very... clean. The site is quiet, but you can clearly hear the traffic on the A7 when the wind is blowing from the west. There is a small store with a small selection in the village. Very nice reception and everything you need is available. The sanitary facilities are clean, they just need a thorough clean. There is some dust and cobwebs on the ceilings and walls. There are... also some animals and the chickens run around the campsite, unfortunately it was not possible for our four children to go into the coop. First they asked at reception how and where this was possible, from there the four of them were sent on to the house, but unfortunately there was no one there. At one point, the manager was at our caravan and asked if everything was OK. Very friendly reception! The sanitary facilities are modern and clean! The site itself is also in good condition. Really good for passing through, not our cup of tea for a vacation. It's a nice location and totally quiet at night, but I wouldn't... know why I would spend several days there. The snack bar is also closed and in general the campsite seems to me to be in a deep sleep, waiting for someone to breathe more life into it with a fresh concept. There is potential for this! On arrival, we had to ring the bell at reception, which was not manned due to the low season - but we were soon greeted in a very friendly manner. Unfortunately, we discovered that the much-praised "Vesperstübchen" wasn't... even open yet - because we actually wanted to round off the first evening of our vacation in comfort. There were also no other restaurants nearby - the site is very quiet and the neighboring village was deserted. As we were traveling with a camper van, we didn't want to drive tens of kilometers for a restaurant, so we had home cooking in the camper van. The sanitary facilities in the basement of the owner's family home are kept clean, but unfortunately everything looks unfriendly due to the basement location - different types of tiles have also been laid, it looks pieced together. There are also renovated areas, including a toilet near the reception, which is new and nicely designed. The location of the campsite on the edge of the forest makes hikers' hearts beat faster, and there are also beautiful walking paths for dog lovers. Overall, however, you should be a little "quieter", as it could quickly become boring for families with older children. For short trips, relaxing weekends and overnight stays near the A7, however, it is very suitable. - Werner Z.Αύγουστος 2013We stayed at this beautifully quiet campsite on August 17, 2013. The owner couple were very nice and open-minded. The site offers large pitches, some with shade and some with sun. In the immediate vicinity (500m) is a public outdoor pool, tennis court and sports field. Hiking and biking trails lead through... the Knüllwald. Sanitary facilities exemplary and clean. We were surprised by the disabled bathroom for this campsite. We will use this campsite more often to go for walks or just to relax. By the way: there are also animals and agriculture.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.
