Beautiful place, huge plots, special charm
Negativ
Water pressure sometimes problematic in summer
Living at the castle
A great campsite with the special charm of staying at an old castle. The pitches are huge, some of them under trees. The small store has a great selection for a relatively small site and exceptionally long opening hours. One of the two sanitary blocks is great, the other is a bit outdated.
A good starting point for excursions to Chalon-sur-Saône, Mâcon, Beaune and Tournus.

WLAN (only at the reception), supermarket offer
Very nice facility
Very nicely laid out complex, great planting, very large pitches.
WLAN only at the reception (even there rather slow), supermarket very small, hardly any choice, no alternative in the immediate vicinity. Everything very quiet, beautiful pool area. Sanitary facilities somewhat outdated, but very clean!... Place is used a lot by travelers and families with children. Restaurant available (but we didn't use it). The area around the campsite is rather boring.

Somewhat winding approach. A little out of the way.
Nice place for an overnight stay
Beautifully maintained grounds with an old chateau. Spacious pitches. Sanitary facilities somewhat outdated, but clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Obviously used by many travelers passing through for a stopover.
Situated directly on the River Soane, which you can cycle along in places, but still a somewhat desolate area.

For us the best campsite
This campsite is simply SUPER!!! Everyone is very, very friendly, the location and surroundings beautiful, the place is extremely well maintained, the whole park, the grounds very nicely laid out. Then at breakfast the view of the castle!!!
The sanitary facilities were perfectly cleaned, the whole area,... the lady kept everything nice and clean for us, Merci Madame!!!
We had our pitch on the large meadow, we were without children, but perfect for families with small children, play equipment, the children can play and the parents have them in view!
The small store also has everything you need for everyday use.

Because there are always fellow campers who think they are alone on site and someone cleans everything for them, there was a blockage in one of the toilets! I let them know and it was fixed immediately.
Dear fellow campers, do you ever think about the cleaning staff, I just find it disrespectful!

Perhaps a rear exit for walking the dog would be great, chatting at a high level.
Perfect vacation with a dog
It was our first time at this campsite and we will be back again this year.
The staff was always friendly and polite.

Generously laid out site in the park of the castle with all infrastructure, large plots (ours was > 200m2), perfectly maintained and clean, easy access even with a large motorhome, indoor and outdoor pool
Negativ
WLAN only at the bar (but ensures that the throughput there is reasonably acceptable)
Beautiful & spacious place in the south of Burgundy
A somewhat secluded and quiet location from which the sights of southern Burgundy are easily accessible by car, and the towns of Chalon-sur-Saone and Tournus are easy to "cycle" along the Voi Verte. The friendly and competent staff make you feel welcome and take excellent care of their guests. We had... a gravel pitch and were well looked after even in rainy weather. However, it could get a bit muddy on the grass pitches. The gravel pitches are also ideal for large motorhomes. We have rarely seen such a clean and well-maintained site. It has earned its 5 stars. We did not use the sanitary building and therefore did not rate it.

Highly recommended
The contact with the campsite was friendly and courteous right from the start. It was no problem to reserve two neighboring pitches, inquiries about Corona were answered with courtesy. Our pitches were really big, everything was clean, we regularly observed the staff on inspection rounds, where, for... example, garbage was removed immediately (some campers don't know how to behave!). The children really enjoyed the playgrounds and the pools were just the right thing to cool off in 38 degrees Celsius.
The rear sanitary block is fairly new and well maintained, clean at all times (unless of course a camper pig comes along... fortunately this was rare). The sanitary facilities near the reception are in urgent need of renovation, although the cleanliness here was also ok.
Although many pitches were occupied, there was a quiet atmosphere and it was surprisingly quiet in the evenings despite the many families (at least for us in the front area, near the swimming pool).
We felt so comfortable that we spontaneously spent another night here at the end of our round trip.

Noble place in quiet surroundings
The campsite stands out due to its location. We explored the surrounding area, especially Cluny Abbey, Tournus and Beaune. The store on the square is very well stocked and the food in the castle restaurant is fantastic. There is also a take-away that offers pizza and boeuf bourgignon and a bar. The lake... in the park is inhabited by "beaver rats", which really upset the dog... Sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned in the morning and evening, many guests are English.

Dreamlike
Spontaneously booked over the Easter holidays. Everything was very friendly and courteous. I was even addressed by name on arrival. The owner personally looks after the well-being of the guests and is omnipresent. The restaurant in the castle is simply stunningly good, and the price-performance ratio... is absolutely right. Beautiful excursions to the surrounding countryside but also to very nice towns such as Macon, Chalon and Beaune. I will be back!

Long distances (showers; walking the dog)
Very beautifully laid out, large space with a feel-good character
Wonderful place, very nice staff, value for money very good; pool was open until the end of September; WLAN free and slow but only at the bar - on the rest of the huge place no WLAN and poor cell phone reception. Quiet despite very good occupancy; many short-term guests (for whatever reason); quite far away from the shot; Tournus (10km) and Chalon (20km) can be reached by bike; charmingly designed in an old estate/park. A place to feel good ...

Far away from all
Good place to stay overnight - far from the beaten track
The site is located in beautiful surroundings and is well managed and maintained. The operator has clear target groups: Transients, all travelers or families with small children. There is little to nothing on offer for children over 6 and hardly anything else in the area. Playground only for small children... as well as the pool area. We were the classic overnight gesture and we enjoyed our time very much. It was an oasis of well-being and we will be back again. The restaurant is good but high priced and benefits from the fact that there is little in the area. The restaurant 1km away is a very good alternative. If you have a place further back, then it is also quiet and not from 6 o'clock the noise of the traffic calming threshold due to the many departures. The sanitary facilities were clean and constantly cleaned. For us therefore a great classic overnight place but not a place for a summer vacation with children from 6 years, as it is far away from the shot

- Shady pitch - quiet, although used by many only as a place to stay overnight - for once a campsite with real flair
Campsite with flair
We felt very comfortable at the campsite. We thought that this site simply had flair with its location in the castle park. Our pitch was in a shady spot under great old trees right in the castle park. Directly behind our caravan was a huge meadow where you could play frisbee etc. The swimming pool wasn't big, but we really enjoyed cooling off in it when we came back from our excursions all sweaty.

Most of the pitches are grass pitches, when it rains a lot they are very quickly soaked
Great place in a fantastic landscape
We had reserved three adjacent pitches for three families with small children. We also got our chosen pitches, which were huge and right next to the sanitary building. The playground was also directly opposite. The site is situated in a beautiful landscape, but unfortunately it's a bit far to the river... Saône, but it's still very suitable for anglers, especially with a boat as there's plenty of space on the pitches. Many campers are just passing through for a night or two, vacation campers like us - who stay there for a week or longer - are rather rare. Our son was able to fish all week at the fishing pond in the middle of the campsite. The small children loved using the swimming pool and the playground. We were able to take our dog on out and about tours around the campsite. We also got pizza in the bistro at the front, which was very tasty. We also visited the small bar several times.

Ideal for weekends or transit
The location totally quiet but not too far from the highway brought us here the first time, now we came for a long weekend to enjoy the cuisine of Burgundy and the tranquility of the countryside.
