Short distances, lots for the kids: Kettcar rental, table tennis, Bollspatz, Cameing room and playground. Clean and tidy, extra dog area, super tasty bread roll service, snack machine. Easy entry and exit thanks to license plate recognition. Super restaurant, very tasty. Clean sanitary facilities. Super nice staff.

We had a nice big pitch for our caravan and trailer. The car was also allowed on the pitch. Nice and shady, short walk to the sanitary facilities and dog meadow. It was our first camping trip as a family and with our own caravan. We would love to come back.

The operators are all really nice, everything can be booked online, even the bread rolls... Barrier system with license plate recognition. Everything is very relaxed. There are separate pitches separated by hedges. The wash house is super clean. There is a family area in the wash house.

We always got bread rolls in the morning, even though we didn't order any beforehand.
Negativ
The pizzeria was a bit inflexible, even with a takeaway order. Of course, the owner can't help that.
Test weekend
This was our test weekend with our new "old" caravan. A beautiful site on the Secker Weiher, we had a beautifully situated, quiet and large pitch.

Cozy campsite
Like my previous rater, Jan H, we were at the meeting of the "Club der Tandemachser".
The admins made arrangements with the site manager and groundsman in advance and we were perfectly supported by the site.
The staff were always friendly and helpful, no matter when, how and where.
Thank goodness the... weather played along and we were able to accommodate our horde on pitches T1-T5.
We enjoyed our meeting, we celebrated and spent a cozy WE up there.

Next year is already booked :)

Beautiful little place in the middle of nature and by the water
We were here with a larger group for a camping meeting and spent a great long weekend on the site. The site manager really went the extra mile, the staff were very nice and everything was always spotlessly clean.

Family-friendly and idyllic
Very nicely located campsite. Sanitary always clean. Shopping facilities nearby, small store in the reception building with daily bread service. Nice offers for children (pumpkin carving, handicrafts, movie night...) We were there for the 2nd time as part of our caravan meeting with 38 caravans. The... operator made everything possible with the organization and everyone had a great time. We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Weiherhof am See camping park.

Stayed at the Birkenwiese or Birkengrund over the weekend. Secluded location.
First the positive:
- Beautiful pond and sunbathing lawn
- Super pizza and pasta in the restaurant
- Nice and quiet
Negatives:
- No wifi at the place where we were
- Sanitary building much too small
- Only two sinks. So queue... up!
- Cleanliness also not very good
in the sanitary building.
I know that there is a larger sanitary building, but the way there to wash up is a bit far. There are definitely better alternatives in the Westerwald.

The beach bar directly on the sunbathing lawn by the lake is also great.
Italian restaurant on the campsite highly recommended.
All in all, the campsite is highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had only booked 3 nights in the rental caravan with dog, caravan is old, but well maintained, place is very well maintained, staff super friendly and the food in the restaurant excellent. We will definitely be back

-Beautifully laid out campsite by the lake with all options for families with children and adults, solo or as a couple, with or without a dog. -Large pitches, some of which are tightly enclosed by hedges, - small, well-stocked store on the site and a good restaurant nearby, - Peace and quiet on the site, - Very clean sanitary facilities, - very friendly staff, -a wide range of offers for all vacationers or permanent guests, - competent help with problems, - fair prices.

The dog meadow is unfortunately too small.

A great, professionally managed campsite with everything you could wish for. A manager who continues to develop the site innovatively and imaginatively and ensures quality at all levels (even the toilet paper and paper towels are of good quality)....
This includes not only the cleanliness of the site, but also the festivals, the culinary offerings for everyone and wonderful activities such as the carriage rides and many other vacation activities for children.
The spectacular Holzbach Gorge and other hiking opportunities are within walking distance.

Beautiful family vacation
Beautiful, quiet and well-kept campsite. There are lots of old trees and hedges in the "Birkengrund" area, so you don't feel like you're sitting right on your neighbor's lap.
The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the swimming pond offers great leisure activities for the kids in fine summer weather. There is a lot to discover in the surrounding area - especially for hikers.

Super relaxing vacation
A very well-kept campsite. Modern and very clean sanitary facilities. The pizzaria on site is run by a lovely Italian couple. Super tasty. The location is great. The site is right on the lake and on the Westerwaldsteig. So great for relaxing and hiking and much more.

Great Easter vacation with a dog
We spent a very nice vacation with our two dogs on the campsite at Easter this year. There was a lovely party organized with an Easter fire and we felt completely at ease. Our pelt-noses were very welcome and even received a few treats as a greeting. There is access to a forest right next to the campsite for walks. Beautiful hiking trails and great walks can be started directly from the campsite.

Group meadows for larger community outings. Very nice and friendly operator/staff. Beautiful, well-kept site with swimming lake, sunbathing lawn, playground, pizzeria and direct access to various hiking trails. Modern and clean sanitary building.

Great short group trip
We chose this pitch as a larger group because we could all stand together on the group meadows.
There were water taps and electricity connections within easy reach. However, we were informed in advance that we would need about 30 m of extension cable in the most unfavorable position.

We were treated... very kindly and despite arriving individually, everything ran smoothly.

The pitch, the sanitary facilities, the lake and the surrounding area were well maintained and attractive.

The pizzaria has an outdoor terrace with a view of the playground and the lake and the pizza was delicious.

The site is mostly occupied by permanent campers.

There were offers such as reflexology massages (which we didn't book) and a small party in May (or just before May..until 11pm) with soft drinks, beer, cocktails and pizza on sale, music and a fire pit.

We liked it and it is quite possible that we will go there again 😉.

Great location on a very beautiful lake. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We've never had that before. You can do a lot of hiking here.

The pitch on the Wiede was very spongy, but that's not the site's fault. Otherwise nothing negative.
The first, but not the last time
A very beautiful and spacious campsite with very well-kept sanitary facilities. The location on a lake is absolutely top. All the staff are extremely friendly. An Italian restaurant on the site completes the positive picture and the food there is very tasty. We also really liked the idea of the Easter bonfire and the sausages
