CP Neuharlingersiel: Arrive, Relax
For seasoned campers, the registration process takes some getting used to.
The electronic booking/check-in system is generally well-designed.
Pitch sizes, locations, and available spots for the desired time period are clearly displayed.
The reception desk apparently serves only as an information desk... and, if the electronic registration system fails, as the registration point.

We were there a few years ago; a lot has changed since then.
The facilities at the Comfort sites are excellent, but they come at a price.
However, I couldn’t quite figure out what exactly is “premium” about the Premium sites.
The Standard sites—as well as some of the Premium sites—could use a little “leveling off”; for RV travelers, getting the vehicle aligned can be a challenge in some cases.

The eight restroom facilities leave nothing to be desired in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and appearance.
In the restroom facilities I used near my site, only the fixed showerheads seemed a bit outdated.
If you were to mix sand into the water, they’d have the charm of a sandblasting machine.

I can’t understand why some commenters are complaining about the lack of a “bread roll service.” If the nearest bakery—depending on where you’re parked—is closer than the reception desk (where the bread roll service would be), then walking to the bakery shouldn’t be a reason to complain.

The many access points for pedestrians and cyclists to and from the campground are also excellent.
To the beach, to the harbor, into town.
This eliminates the need for the long walk via the main entrance.

For shopping, there’s a supermarket right across from the main entrance, a fish market, and other little shops in town.

There are dining options right next to (not on) the campground as well as in town.
The only place you should avoid is the “Schleckeria” ice cream parlor at the harbor.
A scoop of ice cream for €2.50 and poor quality just don’t go together.

There are better places in Germany.
I was hoping for something different from a 5-star spot. Booking a spot at the machine when you don't know what to expect, and then ending up with a price that's different from what's listed. For example, “adults starting at 7.50” (what does that even mean?)—which “adult” am I, since I was charged 8.20? It’s all very confusing.

The site is in a great location directly behind the dyke. The wash houses are all well maintained, some even have mixed showers. The town is only a short walk away. The staff are very nice, we will be back again.

Expensive electricity tariffs on many pitches. 0.80€/KW/h !!! That is not possible. No bread roll service on the pitch. Still dominated by permanent campers.
Beautiful place by the sea
Good pitch with good infrastructure. In the off-season, there is usually always room for last-minute bookings.
Unfortunately, the off-season options are very limited and the opening hours of the restaurants are very restricted. Due to construction and renovation work, there are often massive restrictions,... especially for cyclists, due to closures on the dyke paths because of alleged construction work (?). As soon as the high season is over, the farmers get their barrels out of the barn and fill them with water for all they're worth.

Very nice correspondence at the time of booking, on arrival every member of staff is friendly and courteous. Departure can take place at the machine at any time. The pitches are large enough. We always rent a bathroom, and this campsite leaves nothing to be desired! Super nice, clean, very large, with bathtub. Very close to the dyke and beach, well-kept outdoor area, beautiful pond, wonderful fishermen's cottages, which we have booked ourselves before. We come back again and again, best place for us

We would like to add that it is excellent to be able to travel anywhere by bus for one euro per trip with the spa card.

Top campsite
Great campsite, we have rarely seen such a well-kept and clean place.

Why it only has 3.7 points here at Camping.info is incomprehensible. The five points from Bensersiel are completely out of proportion here, the site in Neuharlingersiel is much better in terms of facilities and cleanliness.

There... is a nice beach bar behind the dyke, with live music on some days.

There are several playgrounds, we often used the newer playground by the small lake

The supply of bread rolls is great, several bakeries are within walking distance.

Unfortunately, it was noticeable that many shops/ice cream parlors only accept cash, which should be different by 2025.

Thank God dogs are not allowed, it is always striking how quiet a place can be when there are no dogs

Winter camping
We were on the dyke pitches in the 1000 area, which are large enough with electricity/water/waste water. They all have a "sloping position" so there should be enough ramps available. The sanitary building was well heated, clean and on the second floor you can hang up your sauna or swimming gear to dry.... Everything is done with a chip card, access to sanitary facilities and waste disposal. No plastic separation, everything goes into the residual waste. Bus with the spa card costs €1.00 per person and is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. The offer for the swimming pool in the Badewerk (17.50€ for 7 times 2 hours swimming) is great, is also loaded onto the chip card. Unfortunately, it didn't work on our two chip cards and we had to make do with a note at the Badewerk.
We cannot recommend the Thalasso treatments at the Badewerk, they were below average for us. The seawater swimming pool, on the other hand, is fantastic, with a separate area for swimmers who want to do their lengths and two steam saunas also available in the pool area.
We really enjoyed our time at the campsite and are planning to stay a week longer next year.

The new pitches with fresh and waste water and the paved surface as well as the different pitch sizes are an advantage for all guests. The large number of sanitary facilities with sinks and washing machines offers enough space for everyone. For children, the large playground with the nearby swimming pool is a dream.
Negativ
The guest areas with a pure lawn become a very muddy place when it rains. Can still be improved .
Always worth a trip
The redesign and expansion of the campsite and the themed sanitary buildings make the vacation a special experience.
The friendliness of the entire team should also be emphasized. The direct location on the dyke and the short distances to the harbor round off the feel-good experience.

We were on the new part of the site. Very nice and well-maintained sanitary building. The reception was very friendly. We felt completely at home. Almost next to us were the cute new houses by the pond. We also really liked the proximity to the Bäderwerk and the Kutterhafen and restaurants. We've been to the campsite around 19 times over the years. Everything has changed for the better. We would love to come back.

Beautiful campsite
The campsite is very large and everything is well labeled. The wash house is very clean and attractive. The site is right on the dyke and close to the beautiful cutter harbor. There are also play areas for children.

Surprisingly beautiful and idyllic
We were here for the first time during the fall vacations and couldn't imagine much about Neuharlingersiel. After a friendly welcome (great arrival parking lot) we were able to move into a large and beautifully laid out pitch in the new area. We really liked it. Neuharlingersiel is small but nice and... everything can be reached on foot or by bike. There is also a lot to discover in the surrounding area. The sanitary buildings are bright and clean. However, it would be nice to have one or two more toilets for the men, during rush hour there were often waiting times, so it can get a bit tight ;-) There is everything you need on site and in Neuharlingersiel. We would love to come back!

First vacation in Neuharlingersiel
Our first vacation in Neuharlingersiel. We already knew the region, but only without a camper van.

Short & sweet:
Excellent value for money, friendly staff, great pitches. Can only recommend the 1069 as it has an excellent view of the playground, dyke and lake, a dream in the evening!
There is a lot... on offer for children. The Kibi Ferientreff organizes great activities and the Leuchtürmchen Club is not far away.

Nothing needs to be said about the region, simply beautiful!

Everything is within walking/cycling distance and the staff are always helpful.

We have already booked for next year!

Great place
It was our first time at this campsite. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back. We really liked the location close to the beach, harbor and spa gardens. The very friendly welcome on arrival also played its part. The part of the site around the Gulfhof is really well done.

As we have... noticed on many other campsites, many campers find it increasingly difficult to respond to a good morning or hello, or even to say it of their own accord. So much for the camper community.

No more friendliness, largely automated processing by chip card. The new campsite areas have nothing to do with the nature of the North Sea. Even on departure, they no longer want to see the guests. Billing at the machine.
Visited Nordsee Camping Neuharlingersiel again after more than 6 years.
I actually didn't want to come back after 20 stays. But now it turned out that way, so we tried again.
I am very disappointed. Architects, gardeners, landscapers and designers have put their ideas into practice here and built a campsite like they do today.
Wrong idea! This is no longer a campsite at... all.
These are now functional pitches for motorhomes and caravans. Not a trace of nature.
There is a sailing boat in the water, and more are being added for rental purposes. Nine houses were built on the small pond for rental purposes. The design of the houses would be better suited to Disneyland, they don't fit in with the North Sea.
At first glance, the sanitary block looks good, but after a few days you realize how unfunctional it is. It's like this here: a lot wanted, but not done.
The constant crossing of the building site was a major annoyance. Not only was the vehicle completely messed up, you were also pushed if you drove according to the regulations. Once I ignored a completely nonsensical and arbitrary stop sign.
I was treated like a criminal by the campsite manager. I was threatened with expulsion.
But she didn't dare approach the driver of the large construction site vehicle, because he hadn't stopped either.
I accepted it, I didn't want to get thrown out.
This way of addressing other people who bring the money there is not acceptable at all. This lady should be trained in this respect.
I was already planning to leave in the fall of 2017 because of the rigorous demand for advance payment. After these experiences, I can't imagine coming back again at the moment.
We are simply used to other friendly campsites where the guest really is the focus. But please, let everyone make their own experiences.

absolute feel-good place
It starts with the friendly and helpful reception. The camping card gives you access to the sanitary buildings, which were ALWAYS very clean. It's a great idea that you can hang up your wet bathing gear to dry in the buildings. There is a bakery nearby and also a food market. There are several access points to the dyke and the path through the spa gardens to the bathing area is very well laid out. We would love to come back
