The whole site is very clean, including the sanitary facilities. Registration is very structured and professional. You are taken directly to the course in... a golf cart. In addition, all the staff are extremely friendly - you are greeted warmly and immediately made to feel welcome (including by the course residents, by the way :-)Automatisk oversat.

The pitch was nice and big - sanitary facilities a bit old-fashioned but spotlessly clean! The lake was simply fantastic in this weather. Restaurant: The food was good and the price was okay. There were only problems with the table reservation, despite written confirmation. But these are things you can still work on - not an issue!
All in all, we liked it very much and felt very comfortable.

We were completely satisfied.Automatisk oversat. - Sandra B.juni 2025Dreamlike days - camping by the lakeThe campsite with its beautiful bathing lakes is great for couples and families with children of all ages. Teenagers also get together and have lots of fun.
The two bathing lakes are connected. One side with lots of bathing fun for families and kids, the other side for those who love peace and quiet.... There is also a great EDEKA supermarket in Oedheim, 20 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by car. And if you don't want to make your own food, just go to the restaurant (open almost every day). There is a bread roll service in the morning and a small kiosk with the essentials in the registration office.
Everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere is very informal.
There is also a large fishing lake next door and a Kneipp facility via a beautiful circular path.
Many guests also have their dogs with them. For the dogs there is a dog stand on the Kocher river running past. There is a "secured" bathing area that is also suitable for small dogs. You can go for a nice walk with your four-legged friend along the banks of the river, in the shade and very pleasant even at 36 C°.
We live only 20 minutes away from the campsite and we come here every year for a few days to camp. My daughter (14) takes a few school friends with her and then they are never seen again... ;)

It would also... have been good to have been informed about the water in the service rooms, which we could then identify as the smell of sulphur.
It would also have been nice if the very nice restaurant had been open longer in the evening...

There are several run-down buildings on the site. Weeds and tall grass everywhere. There is a wooden flap door in the showers between the shower and the hooks on the door, but this only covers half of the... clothes - so no anteroom, no bench, no storage space for glasses etc.
