Even our forgotten power cable was no problem, we were lent one. The sanitary buildings were clean and there was everything a camper needs. We didn't need the... store and restaurant, but everything looked inviting. The swimming pool offers plenty of space and the table tennis table and youth room provide plenty of variety. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but they were very clean. The sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly during the day.

A super friendly welcome with good-humored operators who are definitely passionate about what they do! The pitches are slightly elevated, at first I thought I wouldn't be able to get in, but my concerns were nonsense, our 5.6m camper was one of the... smaller ones. Our pitch, like all the pitches there, was naturally beautiful with soft, wooded ground and partial shade - a dream! Unfortunately it rained a lot, but it didn't matter because the swimming pool saved us with our two boys ;)
It's quite big and so warm that we were able to use it for a long time even when it was 19 degrees. The exit, which is an extra room that is specially heated and where you can lay down towels and shower/change in the rain, was also very well thought out.
There was also wifi, so everything was great! Even washing without stress and walking the dogs was also nice - at least everywhere relaxed people and the permanent campers next to us were super nice and open - simply pleasant.
The restaurant was also great, the schnitzel is only for experienced eaters, large and fresh. My son still raves about the pancakes.
We've never been to Lake Millstatt, it's super nice and warm, but unfortunately a bit further away than we thought.
It's a nice walk to get there, so it's not that bad.
With the camper it is convenient if there is a store, in case something was forgotten - this is also available at the site, small but ok.
We liked it from start to finish, so the price is justified.

We also really liked this campsite and would love to come back. Particularly noteworthy is the warmth with which you are welcomed, which makes a camping vacation fun, you immediately feel at home....
There is a restaurant with delicious food and ice cream, affogato to melt away, the staff is friendly and courteous.
There is also a small store on site where you can buy the essentials, bread rolls, postcards etc. We can't say anything about the swimming pool, we weren't in the water, but it looked well maintained and was always busy. The sanitary buildings were always clean and well thought out, enough storage space, extra glass door to the shower.
The visit to the petting zoo as part of the great leisure activities was also a great experience for adults (2-month-old Apaka)
The location of the Schwimmbad Mössler campsite is perfect, you can walk to the lake in just 100 meters.

The campsite is a family business and you can feel the warmth right away. You are helped immediately, everyone is friendly and very accommodating, they respond to individual needs and make many things... possible. The swimming pool is great, as is the sauna area. The great indoor play area is also a real asset! There is also an entertainment room where games and coloring materials are freely available from 10:00 to 21:00, even outside of the entertainment times. There is also a room with a TV, table football, pinball and billiards. There are also several outdoor playgrounds and two large trampolines. Our pitch was very nice and the electricity was directly at the site. There are two sanitary blocks and the one we used was clean at all times! The pool is still great - always great for refreshment on hot days. Booked a full body massage again this time and was again very satisfied. The lady knows... her trade. Our pitch (ACSI) was very large and in the shade in the morning. Beautiful planting. Shower house not far away and always clean and above all nice big shower cubicles. Very nice reception (without reservation). There are several pitches to choose from. The path to the lake is not far either.
What we didn't like this time, however, was the restaurant. The last time we stayed there, they served traditional Carinthian cuisine and it was incredibly tasty. (That was also a criterion for going there again). This time, however, we were very disappointed. I had cevapcici with fries - there were 4 or 5 small cevapcici in an indefinable white sauce. The fries, however, were super tasty. They tasted okay, but were far too expensive in terms of value for money. My husband had ordered spare ribs with chips and - oh horror - they also came in an indefinable white sauce!!!! My husband hates white sauces and it would never have occurred to us that someone would serve ribs in a white sauce. It was also a super small portion, but it cost €20. The price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. We wanted to give it another chance 2 days later - but unfortunately the food was nothing this time either. The pizza was nothing special and the spaghetti carbonara came in the same white soggy sauce as the cevapcici and spare ribs. It wasn't Italian carbonara. However, we will go back again and hope that the food will be better. Even wishes are fulfilled (thanks for every morning, picture newspaper) The Mössler family takes time for everyone to just have a little chat. The worm bin for our organic waste is also a great idea and not just for children. Although the site is not directly on the lake, you can be there in just a few minutes. For a small euro you can buy the Mössler Card and get free entry to 3 lidos and free rides on toll roads that lead up the mountain to the alpine pastures. In addition, the pool directly at the campsite is a highlight, cooling off after a hike was simply a blessing. Finally, there is another special feature of this campsite: the cars are not parked directly at the campsite/accommodation, but in designated parking spaces. This means that the children can run and play freely.NegativIt was a pity that there was no barbecue in the mobile homes and this was not mentioned in the description. So we couldn't barbecue for 2 weeks in the most glorious weather and somehow that's part of camping.Summer vacation 2025We liked the place very much, we traveled as a couple and rented a mobile home.

We stayed in a beautiful mobile home. We were able to combine camping and luxury. Having our own air conditioning was great. As well as the convenience of our own toilet and shower. As well as a fridge with freezer compartment. There was also a gas stove. There was also a cozy sitting area. The terrace was very nice to spend pleasant hours there. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. We were always helped immediately if we had any questions. This beautiful family-run campsite leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is... clean and well-kept. There is a private swimming pool and a sauna. There are also sports activities and weekly changing activities. The campsite is now run by the next generation, but the parents are on site every day and provide support wherever they can. Every morning there are fresh rolls and pastries. A little chat is also part of it. This family atmosphere makes you feel at home straight away. The next generation brings a breath of fresh air. For example, a webshop with merchandising articles such as high-quality pullovers or T-shirts with the various motifs of the campsite logo from the different years. You can also stock up on all kinds of necessary products in the mini-market. The campsite is idyllically situated between the mountains and the beautiful Milldstädter See. The path to the reception / mini market from the end (where our great mobile home was located) of the campsite invites everyone to take a short walk. Everyone you meet greets you when you say hello. This gives you the feeling of home. Every word and every sentence comes from the heart and is meant 100%. I would say that this wonderful campsite leaves nothing to be desired. Whether you are traveling with a tent, luxury camper or caravan. The various mobile homes also offer a great alternative to a tent or caravan for camping newcomers if you don't have the right driving license but still want to go camping. The various offers leave nothing to be desired. Camping Mössler offers everyone who likes camping or would like to try it out. The ideal conditions for this. The lake is also... very close and you can be in the village in no time. We had the bikes with us and went to the lidos by the lake and also visited the village. Everything is very close. Everything was great - from the extremely friendly manager and the clean sanitary facilities to the spacious pitches and the relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool is actually well heated and pleasantly warm. There is a restaurant next to the reception where you can enjoy homemade pizza, for example. The service there was always courteous and friendly. The store on site is small and nice - it has everything you need and you can get fresh pastries at any time - and at normal prices. If the weather is bad, the children can let off steam in the indoor playground with a fantastic "climbing frame". The large outdoor trampoline is also a special attraction and can even be used free of charge. The manager herself is always friendly and happy to provide tips for excursions. You can tell that she puts her heart into her work here.NegativAs Austrian guests, we felt like we were in the minority, as the place is mainly visited by German and Dutch vacationers.
